i encountered one of this cave dweling monsters while i was on my clever ptera which is golden wind thinked i should tame one of these guys but i was scared and pass after carrying 158 metal like a quetz i dismounted not on the bary but a pool of piranhas luckly a bronto helped me he stepped at the water blocking the piranhas i got on my ptera and a not just a baryonyx bite my ptera a sarco bite the wing i flew high with fear i came back with aenald my high level trike and saw the sarco and the bary is fighting i rammed into them i killed the bary and bary killed the sarco

Do not tame this using a Dino they can knock you off

When you level it up to around 150 it can kill a mammoth in two bites I would use this for underwater caves and above ground underwater caves

If you have access to them, get bolas and then hit it with a bat (at the tail, preferably). The reason you don’t want to attack from the front is they can fight back at the front, no exceptions. Usually you can hit them enough times that if the bola wears off, you will have scared the Baryonyx into trying to flee anyways, although possibly 35% of the time you can knock them out before that happens. But before doing any of these bring at least 3 stacks of 40 fish meat, as despite being carnivores, Baryonyx will strictly only eat fish during the taming process. Hopefully this helps

10/10 best land mount in the game, rivaling the thyla. It may not be the strongest but it's a lot more useful than the spino since it fits in almost all of the caves of the island

I live near the swamp I just found one and lured near my base on a pterodactyl I wouldn’t use an argh for its speed when it got close enough I started shooting it with tranq arrows it took about 3 but it was level 4.

It is faster than a sarco on land, but slower than a sarco in water. Choose.

Mine was sooooo hard to get out of the water I tried to shoot it in the back when it was on the surface but I always missed but she was worth it tame one!

Baryonyxs is a great overall Dino but don’t use it to kill jelly’s. It will die. Never go near one in water that isn’t yours. Lure it out.

Be careful when you or a baryonx is in water because they can kick you with their tail and stun you.

Carry with argue and drop it in the trap or cage and tranq it quick or it’ll destroy your defence . . . Maybe k?

If your level 8 and see one, go to water far away from him, get lots and I mean LOTS of fish meat. Next, go to him, say hello, bo,a him, and use a club to just make him fall to the groud, and then, you just give him the meat, and wait. While your waiting, grab some narcoberries, and feed them to him. Next, wait. Then, BOOM. You just got a baryonyx. You're welcome!

Tame it in the top of a hig rock, use arrows and a bola to it don't run out, use paquirrinosaurus kibble and a balm to tame a hig level fast, i tamed a 240 in 4 minutes in this way,I found my bari in the Lake at the redwood, the Lake at the lest of the redwoods, it doesn't appears um the map, usually there is a barionyx in this placa

Just let it get stuck on something and knock it out.

If your not level 90+ don’t even try to run

You can just bola them on land and knock them out with a club, slingshots, or any tranq things. Happy taming:)

Really easy to tame. Got tranqs and hit it twice, it fel I got fish meat and that boi was tamed up pretty fast

Like to fix the no resource gathering on weak Dino’s

I tamed one. It was my baby. Another one came 1 min after I tamed it, and killed mine. BOOM. Right after, The I wanted to tame the other one. It died. W T H why?! NO I get no baryonyx

The Baryonyx kibble should be used to tame another creature in ark mobile, as the megalania isn’t there in Mobile. Hopefully the game can update this.
