The baryonx is a great swimmer, it swims fast floating and submerged and it’s stamina is great alothough it’s health isn’t the best be careful when around stunners l(eel and jellyfish) always use stun attack when in trouble

This dino is largely underated! Quick on land and sea. My lvl 60 Barry killed a 145 alpha megaladon with ease, the stun effects the alpha!!

Bola him and use tranq arrows to knock him out.

If you have a quetz, it can be as easy as pie. You can pick them up out of water or off land with a quetz, just make sure it's head is facing away from your quetzs body. I grabbed one out of the swamp and another from the big red canyon with waterfalls in ragnarok near the huge bridge, then flew it to a ready made trap and dropped it in. Knocked it out, ready with kibble.

Never get in water with them only on land or your dead also on center there to easy to find.

Do not fight them in the water! I tamed a pachyrhino and was on a level 250 wolf going across the river when it attacked and killed me and the pachyrhino. Its stun attack makes it impossible to fight back. I had to respawn and get my rex down there to save the wolf. If u and your tame are submerged u will be stunned and die so cross rivers on bigger dinos or just do it quickly.

Use a high health dino to distract then unload with tranc arises perferable out of a crossbow or tranq of any type ect fun fast tame?

It can be carried by an argentavis. And brough back to a taming pen.

I was on my game in the water you know killing jelly fish and stuff and next thing you know I am thrown off my tame and stunned it then killed my tame then stunned me again and preformed a finisher on me if your gonna battle them do it on land these are deadly in the water

Only use fish meat or prime fish meat or kibble for the baryonyx and you can use nacroberries cause of low torpor drain and when i tamed this guy she killed my pteranodon.

This can be used effectively to knock out Megs! Learnt last night as I took 2 out and tamed within an hour.. and here’s me struggling with a boat shark cage.. MF.

Never get in the water with them if they do the spin move you get stunned and then they eat you alive

For a bary you need a long neck rifle with five tranquilizer darts, and it as pretty easy cause all you need is 200 health and a trap.

Encountered this guy in the water, was scared to approach but when it attacked me my 70lvl parasaur jumped in the water and killed the lvl 57 baryonyx.

Don't know why ppl complain about their strongest dinos dying..

easily farm artifact's with this creature, especially a high leveled one.. just do not sue it at the lava cave, you'd rsther go-on-foot if its lava cave..

Remember to only use kibble or prime fish meat on barys because regular fish meat ruins the taming effectiveness, which is something I learned the hard way. But nevertheless, the bary is an amazing creature even without the extra levels. My green bary named Shrek is quite OP

I was trying to access a supply drop that was in water and I didn't know I wasn't a high enough level. So what a Coincidence as soon I as I click on the supply drop, a baryonx starts attacking me. I died of course so I was from then on afraid of supply drops.
