To prevent them from wandering off randomly, whistle Stop One while mating is disabled. Then you can ride them around to position them for breeding, and once they're lined up you can enable mating and they'll stay put. To move a male between groups of females, just disable mating, whistle Stop One, ride it into position, and enable mating again. This makes breeding much less tedious than it would be otherwise.
Sometimes this doesn't work, possibly due to proximity to structures or other tames. Reposition and whistle, or cryo to fix.
For babies, pick them up with a maewing and drop them once to get them to stay put.
You can also pick up babies and full growns with a skiff tractor beam and they'll stay where you drop them.

Increasing dmg stat does not increase saddle weapon dmg. Seemed intuitive based on saddle info but was not the case. Found out after doing more research myself but hopefully I can save someone else some heartache

A helpful tip should include a few more words.
You can fly in gen1 without flyers enabled because they are considered a water creature. Weird but look under what category they are in dododex
(Xbox controls) So they have their basic mode, where they fly slowly and can go in water. Then, when you press the tertiary attack button, it goes into star fighter mode, and the wings extend. It becomes a plane, and in sprint mode goes extra fast. It can tip right or left with the movement button, but it flies on its own and just goes forward. You can use the movement button and move it left or right twice to do a barrel roll to that side. Pressing the primary attack fires two small two cannons, secondary attack (if you have grenades) fires a rocket and holding primary attack will lock onto a target and fire a ten missile. If you fire a rocket, you can press secondary attack again and explode it prematurely. Tertiary attack does a loop, which can help you get on an enemies tail. You can pull back on the movement button to slow it down, and if you arenβt sprinting, forward to speed it slightly. It is the fighter counterpart to the astrocetus, which is something of a bomber helicopter. It would be something to see two players dogfight with this, although to effectively use it drains element. Overall, it is the master fighter of the skies, and can flee to the water if the battle is not going well, and if things are bad underwater it can always fly out. Weapons are not equip able, but you are plenty set without them. When sprinting, they get an extra speed boost when they dive. I find them to be an excellent advanced battle creature, and would recommend to anyone. They are fast, safe, maneuverable, and they can hold their own in or escape from any situation. To disable star fighter mode you need to HOLD r3 on PS4/5

The AstroDelphis has a star fighter mode on the saddle which you toggle by clicking ctrl and two jets emerge drastically boosting your speed press left click to fire lasers and hold it to fire a homing shot if grenades are I. Your inventory right click to shoot one if you hold shift you can do a boost press c to do a barrel roll and press x to turn around if underwater press space to use echolocation and itβs all powered by element I hope this helps
