Here’s some tips:

In order to use any of the many companion saddles you must first equip armadoggo saddle 1st

If you die in the air from to a turret you will keep your loot left on the companion (as long as it isn’t flying with you.)

They seem to get stuck attacking snail so if you find one near a snail throw down some meat for an easy tame.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT

The way you take this dog is you drop meat on the ground and he will start eating it, while he’s doing that walk up to him and pet him. He will dig and pop up somewhere else, just rinse and repeat that until he’s tamed

THESE THINGS ARE VICIOUS

Drop meat in front of them and try to pet them.

It's pretty easy to tame them even high levels can tame pretty fast you just have to put the food down Pet it and you can skip the digging stage and then a few tries usually it'll tame!

Fast Travel With Armadoggo

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but you cannot fast travel to a sleeping bag with your Doggo. Bed to bed is the only way it stays in Companion mode and shows up with the stuff you put in its inventory. If someone else has experienced otherwise, please share!

If you encounter them they will attack your creatures near you but will not attack you

Have a fun encounter

The tips here keep saying you cannot have tames near by or wild doggos will agro but that is not entirely true. The wild doggos will agro a few tames including a companion Doggo but it will not agro flyers like a tamed Snow Owl.

Use 1 foundation with a railing on two sides and 4 quarter walls finishing the other two sides to make a box. Drop doggo in there, split up your prime meat or choice of taming food and toss into the box with the doggo. Stand next to doggo on railing side and click pet. It will not dig or run away if you have food on the ground for it to sniff. You can pick the doggo with an argy.

Very buggy. Lost so many of these, lost some getting dc, getting stuck in mesh nd so on, for a payed creature it's not very reliable

1. Don't have any of your tames near them before taming as tames will kill them.

2. I tamed one and the rest of the pack attacked me and killed the tamed dog.

3. Drop the taming food and wait for it to come and sniff then press button when prompted to pet.

4. With meat it took several stages and the dog goes under ground and when it comes back up drop more food.

5, Take out any other Dino's as it attacks them while taming and might just lose the fight.

To tame this puppy just drop 1 regular kibble (dark blue) at a time. If you drop more than one like a whole stack it will only eat 1 from the stack so make sure to pick them back up. Repeat till tamed!

Drop taming food infront of it for example raw prime meat, or kibble it will then sniff sniff a bit and co.e in for a bite as it's getting a nibble you must give it a pet it will then dig and go underground and pop back up a few feet away continue until tamed.

Drop food like raw meat or kibble on the ground near it and when it starts to sniff the food go up to it and pet it. Haven’t got the chance to actually play it but from what I’ve seen if it doesn’t tame on the first try it will walk or dig away and you have to go to it. Repeat the process until tamed.

To tame you need to throw some meat or regular kibble in the floor and the Armadoggo will start to sniff until find it and eat.

-Drop its preferred food on the ground(mutton/regular kibble)

-Wait for it to sniff, walk up to the food, and start munching

-Pet dat dog

I used to use my pteranodon to move them away from tames in progress all the time, until my pteranodon was killed by you’ll never guess what! But yeah, I don’t know why it says you can’t pick them up with a PT, maybe it’s because I don’t have Bob’s Tall Tales of something?

Anyone know how to equip the different bags and armor to it? I cant figure it out. It wont let me equip anything to my armadoggo....
