I would suggest bringing a forge with you when you use your argentavis since it is a portable smithy

Giving a tip:they can carry metal crystal and obsidian good thing to bring an anky there to break crystals metal nodes and obsidian nodes and if you bring an anky near a metal stone or obsidian nodes it will auto swing it and the highest they can carry an anky they can also pick up a raptor if you made a big raptor trap and want 50 Raptors all you godda do is take your arge(short form of Argentavis) then go to carno island they will be a ton of Raptors pick them up and put them in the trap

How I get large amounts of metal fast is I fly around on one carrying a anky with 2 to 5 following and when I find a metal rich place I drop the anky tell the other argentavises to stop collect all the metal in the area then transfer the metal to my argents tell them to follow me and move on if you upgrade there weight with a sqaud of 5 you can get like 2000 - 3000 metal ores per time if you have argents with 1000 wieht each , each one can carry like 1700 metal . I am on level 103 I still get metal like this on SE it's very efficient.

In Mobile you can repair your weapons,tools and armor

Their lack of speed is a trade off for their wide variety of uses. Honestly tho, they are good at almost everything, not the best but they have one of the most utilities in the game, cargo, combat, hunting, exploring long distances and possibly more, plus they look really cool for a giant bird,and when leveled to fullfill a specific task(ex.weight,stam) they will fullfill that task for you in style. They are one of the best mid-game dinos, I recommend you get a few, they are fairly easy to get compared to other aggressive flyers like the griffin or wyvern.

On mobile you can actually repair stuff on it's saddle so i load them up with a few metal ingots so i can repair my longneck anywhere

Two words... flying smithy. MIND BLOWN

On mobile if you fully imprint them and buy the bandana collar in the store they can be as fast a pteranodon(withouth barrel rolling)

10/10 best dino for single player

Can land on top of trees!!! Did it twice to avoid ground landing. Dunno if its a bug but fly down from the top of the tree until the tree starts pushing you aside and find where that starts then land!!

Pretty good if used right killed lvl 8 alpha raptor with lvl 16 argentavis

This creature is a must have for all players as they have a ton on abilities....

The Argentavis is an extremly useful mount, and now it's even better thanks to its TLC, the argentavis has reduced metal weight but make sure to put the metal in it's inventory when riding it because if u the player is holding it while riding the argentavis it's wait will not be reduced, the argentavis also now is able to get a heal buff when it harvests a corpse, the argentavis saddle now works as a potable smithy. The argentavis is also a great dino for taming because it can pick up small to medium sized dinos, good argentavis is also strong enough to take down the likes of rex and spinos but yutis roar does effect the argentavis so watch out for that, all of the argentavis stats are amazing and I would highly taming up a few good argentavis, if you are looking to tame an argentavis look up on YouTube argentavis traps which will hel you alot, the argentavis is one of my personal favourite dinos.
