Combining an argentavis and ankylosaurus can be very useful. Making use of the argy’s high weight stat and the anky’s high metal weight reduction, pick up the Anky with the argy to carry around lots of metal around the map!

In multiplayer it’s even easier to farm metal like this, because one player can ride the argy and the other can ride the anky, just fly past metal rocks and let the Anky rider break them.

Just be sure to drop any stone or flint, because it will weigh you down.

These are such good fliers and I recommend everyone in your tribe gets one. They have amazing health and stamina, and they reduce loads of materials to 50% of their weight while in their inventory, namely crystal, metal, obsidian and stone which makes them great for carrying tons of items in less flights. They regenerate health whenever they eat a dinosaur corpse, and can carry many smaller dinos without issue.

They are good prime meat harvesters. A tamed argy can take on a bronto if the argys health stat is good, just attack the head/neck of the bronto.

It says that it takes more than four raw meat to tame a level 29 it only takes four on genesis part 2.

I dare you to tame one. Tame a male and a female argentavis with level 80 and higher and start to breed them ( I recommend using air conditioners). My pack of 5 level 150 argentavises killed a 8 lv alpha rex. Upgrade their health and damage. I bring my argy anywhere I go.

If you’re a casual player with friends, I wouldn’t recommend going for Argentavis. If you’re playing single player, go for it at any cost.

Carrying an anky with one of these things is a dream team for metal runs.

Don’t put points into movement speed, they do nothing, put them into weight to maximize speed. Don’t believe me? Go to the stats bar for the Argy.

I would suggest bringing a forge with you when you use your argentavis since it is a portable smithy
