On the normal island go to the mountain near the big red ark. Then get a argent to Aggro on you while you're flying and bring it to the top and then go over the top and fly fast away from it then jut pelt it with tranq arrows and it will be stuck in the volcano

If you have a quetzel just throw a ballista turret on its platform with a chain bola or two and the knockout process is way quicker than building some ridiculous taming pen. Easy tame!

They are the only center and island animal that can attack something while poking it up

I use a raft with a giant stone hatch frame no door it flies in easily but when trying to escape it get caught on walls

What I did was I kited the argi around on the ground and Tranqed it while it was slowly after me and when it started to run I either tried to shoot or chased it and shot it

When you are taming the argy, It will be at best interest to have a taming bin/area to trap them in but I would recommend using tranq darts because they do little damage and lots of torpor

When taming lure to the top of the mountain and tame there. Less chance of it dying.

It took about 27 prime meat jerky to tame a lvl 20 Argent, better to stick with raw prime meat in my opinion

My tribe uses our giga pen. The advantage is we have a doorwa. we land our birds used to lure it back to base and jump off. Hitting it once or twice will get its attention. When you run through the door he won't fit and you can get headshots every time. When he flys away he'll get stuck in the roof and it will be easy to tame

Be careful when taming them on mountains because I found a level 27 that I wanted to tame(I am playing easy mode) when I went to get prime meat I found sabers close by and the argent was murderered by the sabers and I got pissed because that was the only high level I found and I wanted to tame a giga with it?but it got murderered by the sabers.So be careful when taming them on mountains watch out of scorpions,sabertooths and gigas

They are great early tames, because they can carry over 500 pounds at level 60, they have a lot of steam, and they can pick up other small tames. They also have a smithy built into their saddle, allowing you to build and repair on the fly. The easiest way to tame takes 2 people, so I will describe that one first one person flies a pteranodon, while carrying another person in said pteranodon's talons. When you find an argy, get into its agro range. This is the hard part. The person being carried must shoot the argy, but can only do so without hitting the pteranodon when the pteranodon is flying straight up. The argy will follow the pteranodon straight up, and the person on the bottom can shoot it with a crossbow (seggested) or longneck or whatever. Argies usually com in twos, threes, or even fours, but this is an advantage to you. Kill the other argy/argies, and harvest them with your pteranodon. They will likely drop prime meat, and this will quickly tame the first argy. up 4 another.

If you have flyers disabled in genesis. Forcetame them even if there already tamed so that you can fly. Trust me it works. Up .this so people see

Use 4 stone gateways and 2 dino gates and trap the argy make shure u can run out and the trank it until uncontions and starbe till about half way low then feed

Argentavises eat corpses of dead animals so kill any animal that’s relatively close to it. It will be circling it for about a minute and you should have your chance to tranq it with darts or arrows or any other methods that you choose to use

Build a 2x3 cage out of wood or stone on a raft and leave 1 space on the roof then agro the argentavis and place the last roof tile and k.o then you can drive it to where ever you want to tame it.

So if your lucky you'll find a smart bird that if you die it either comes back to you or stays in the air were you died so it doesnt get killed.
