I have a question, how many tranqs for a level 50, 100, 150?

Litterly easy on official if u have a pt just go to side of volcano knock one out(wild ones don’t do a lot of damage) then use to pt to kill other Argys to get prime meat. Like so people don’t waste there time on traps

It seems that the head multiplyer doesn’t really work that well, up/vote if you think this should be patched

Sting it with a scorpion to save on ammo. Once it flies off due to high torpor usually one narco arrow shot will put it down. Once tamed use it to pick up the scorpion and go after a quetzal!!!

I’ve gotten away with a 2x2 foundation trap 3 walls high and one Dino gate.

You can either :

1. run through the trap using door ways and run around to the other side where the door is once the bird is in,

2. or stand inside and when the argy is inside close the door then run out through the regular doorways. To do the second strategy you’ll need decent health (I do it with 350) and some armor depending on the level of the argy.

However since the trap is so small be ready for it to escape before the door fully closes.

Forget about traps. Just backpedal on a beach and fire. PS. Agroed carnivores will attack you while carrying the after tlc.

Build 4 Dino gate frames lined up. Couple feet of space in between. Dino gate on the first and the fourth. Lure wild argy in with one door open, shut door when it’s inside. Slip through the gaps and you can shoot through them and tame it in peace.

This is how you tame it 1 get two stegosaurus.2 breed them. 3 craft kibble. 4 go to fars peak ( or the snow) 5 get a prehistoric hawk-eagle-falcon yay 😃!

You just need 3 Dino gateways and 2 Dino door. Place then close enough so you can fit through but the argy can’t, and place door at either end. Leave one door open and get it to chase you in.

Build 4 Dino gates with enough room to fly a pt through or just yourself on foot, put a Dino gate on front and rear Dino gate keep one shut depending what side you're running the argy into, dash through the gap close the other gate. Much easier and faster than building elaborate pens with 30+ doorways etc can be thrown up anywhere so you can tame far away from your usual spot.

You can easily find then in high mountain-areas bring a pteradon as your back up the shoot it with tranquil arrows/darts and bring steggokibble and a few narcotics just in case. Then protect your tame so it does not fall as prey to other carnivores. Always start with a low level then once your level'd up go for the higher ones. Don't forget to bring the saddle!. And lastly please make sure your tough enough to face the surrounding area

Careful if you tame one without a saddle, I lost my first one to a Baryonyx on the way back to my base.

Always have tranq. Arrows at hand these birds are annoying

Build a taming cage for it and a eat a rare flower while in the cage so you can lure it in the cage.trn from there it's a easy)KO but make sure to wait between taking shoots using tranquility arrows.

Lure one from carnivore island using a pteranodon so you can tame it without the dangers of the deadly dinosaurs.

Just tamed a level 1 with normal raw meat. Took no narcotics at all. It's torpidity didn't even drop below half way. Yet according to this guide it needs 6 narcotics for a level 1.

Build a cage with stone pillars and a small dinosaur gate on a boat. Sail to their spawn and lure them in.

These birds usually spawn in dangerous places, lure them out to somewhere safe and start to tranq it.

Most tips should be erased as they were posted pre flyer nerf. Carry weight and stamina are the only things you should increase. Remember to rest your bird.
