I would recommend for taming it to build a 3 stone dino gates and 2 stone dino doors. The space the 3 gates so that your pteranodon can just fly out but not more than that. Put the doors on each end and close on door. Bait the argy inside by going inside with the pteranodon yourself the escape through one of the gate gaps. If u built the trap right he won’t be able to follow. Then hop of the pteranodon and run to the side with the open door and close it. And there we go now u can knock it in peace and the beat part the trap is reusable. Make sure to use tranq darts or better to minimise the chances to kill it.

If you have a good tame (I used a pteranodon) make the argie agro on to the tame and you can shoot it while it is distracted. Make sure the tame is on passive. Happy hunting😀

Best way to tame a Argentavis is to get a stone gateframe trap of the very minimum of 3 or 4, then, make reinforced gates and place it at both entrances. Once you are done, shoot at a Argy(best way to lure one) then get it into the trap and then tame it. Happy taming! (Also watch out for other wild dinos)

Honestly on gen 2 all you need is just crossbow and some tranq arrows in the summer worth area there are ovis’ so easy access too mutton and a faster and better tamed Argy and you can just fly back and continuously hit it in the head while flying backwards

They are pretty easy to tame but the hardest part is keeping it safe from wild creatures.

You can out run an argy on foot and turn around periodically to tranq it out. You have to quickly spam arrows when it starts to fly off.

One stone large Dino gate and 3 stone fence supports easy trap. Stack the fence supports in front of the gate about half a foundation away. Open the gate, kite the argy into the gate and while the argy is chasing you run into the center of the gate argy will fly into then just close the door and pop with tranq arrows(wait about 5 seconds after each shot) and boom all yours. easy tame.

So I was on pvp mobile and I encountered a lvl 2 but it had 750 STAMINA ITS LIKE THAT IS TO HIGH!?!?

Try luring into to a 4 by 4 with door frames around it and let it fly down. It will be an easy knock out from there.

I tried to tame a lvl 70 and it died while i was using my ascedent bow same with 3 others

I don’t think bola works on this but there is somewhere that says what works on it along with what it can brake, be carried by, and other things.

If you want energy I provide taking a low-level because you can just knock them out with tranq darts and you can just have them attack something that's week well you shoot it with a tranq darts

Argies can pick up Direwolfs. Can be used to carry metal on a metal run.

On mobile without primal pass the levels are below 40 I recommend finding a good level because is mine is slow but is very good but very slow

Just use a longneck rifle with 2 tranq darts and you can easily knock it out.

I tamed mine in the redwoods, just bring 4 wooden/metal spike walls just in case cause a saber pack came and tried to kill the high level argy I had knocked out. Luckily the spike walls saved me (:

I had to tame one for my bro because he’s a noob it is easy just wait till level 56 and find a good level then tranq it with darts build spikes around it and then give it prime with bio toxins

If you got one on the mountian but it's pretty low level put it on passive or it will attack sarcos if you go over the swamp and die

May sound stupid, but they can be tamed from the back of a Tapejara.

Just give your Tapejara the follow command, and once you see an Argent, make it aggro you. After that, just fly around, swap seats and shoot some tranq darts every now and then.
