Please don't listen to the advise given to not bother about traps! This is very foolish as it there are many many variables to take into consideration. Are you using a crossbow? A rifle? If Ur using a rifle is it primitive? Ascended? You can't walk up to a 150 Arg with a primitive crossbow and think nothing will go wrong. I do not use traps, why? Well I have a 700dmg ascended longkneck that's why. Being able to use a trap is simple, effective and controlled.

You know where the argent will be and having the ability to pick traps up afterwards...there's really no reason not use them. If you don't have a decent longkneck and fancy going around the island on the back of something in first person looking at the sky while you walse into an alpha go for it.

When you get the saddle at level 62 on mobile but the saddle doubles as a smithy the two saddle doubles as s fabricating station b it I don’t know much more besides this but it flys slow but makes up for utilities and other stuff for maintenance it has a 50x weight reduction for crystal stone metal polymer organic polymer metal ingots and obsidian and way better then a pteranodon if you found this helpful hen please hit the arrow facing the sky :)

Ok guys,this is gonna sound dumb 🧐and it is dumb when i first visited snow biome with my pteranadon there were so many argies but my pteranadon managed to kill then who were following us he even killed a argentavis whos health was 800 and my pteranadon health was only 300 but we didn't use barrel roll so tame pteranadon instead

this is a need tame, especially for single player.

they're slow, sure, but they can carry a lot of creatures, have average/good stats for most stuff and have weight reduction on metal and stuff and are basically an aerial smithy with saddle.

super easy to tame as well.

just fly past on a flier so it aggros onto you, go slow so it doesnt un aggro, land in a safe spot then start shooting with tranqs. feed it with meat then you got an argie! you can find them at mountains or north, in the snow. in the snow is easier to find them.

They are not vary fast so you will want to level them up

To lazy to get the resources to tame a Argy? Type in the cheat command: summontamed Argent_character_bp_c

You an hit one argy from far or just try your luck and bola it out of the air

It requires less narcotics to tame a higher lvl one than a lower level one. Lvl 18- about 75 take no narcotics, but lvl 1-17 take some.

I put my 142 argy in neutral an for some reason he didn't attack an died from terror birds 😠

I tamed mine in 1 min with normal meat he was a level 140

This is unrelated to the argy and or taming it. I just wanted to find the closest to relevant place to post some advice for raising eggs. When I'm between periods of incubation, store eggs immediately, otherwise a Dino can eat if from your inventory while you're running around. Once I was raising an argy egg when it got too hot so I picked it up till nightfall hit. This egg was at 3% incubation with merely minutes left and I went out to get meat for the Newley hatched baby as it was close to being born when a little birdy swooped by and ate it from my inventory, costing me nearly 3 hours of time, and causing me to wait for the parents to be able to mate again. Sorry for the inconvenient location of this tip.

I trap them using 4 stone dino gates and two doors each end, keep one shut and lure it into the trap, run out and quickly close the other door, tranq darts, sleeping

if you wan't to tame an argy in under 10 seconds then first make a trap 4 dino gateway and 2 dino gate and shoot him with and tranqulizer arrow so he will follow you and some how trap him into the trap that you made and and knock him and then wait for him until his food is just about zero then give him a soothing baam you can give a minor i will recomend you a minor soothing baam which cost 10 ancient amber its cheap and i will help you if you have alot of ancient amber then you can buy a major soothing baam which cost 45 ancient amber so feed him minor or major soothing baan whatever you have and raw meat or prime meat ta'daaaa its tame but there is a problem his saddle unlocks in level 62 i guess
