2 shots or sometimes 3 and is out put kibble or meat just wait 1 hour and it's tame

Easiest way to solo tame:

(Don't know who invented. Saw it in game but not instructions in dodo dex.

1 stone foundation (1 pillar and 2 ceiling to save spawns)

4 stone walls

1 roof

1 door

Find an area with argents either put down foundation (or pillar and ceiling combo.), next turn 4 walls into double doorway and build a box out ofthose. Put roof on top and then put the door on the left or right side of roof not front or back. When done it should loosely resemble a glass box trimmed in stone with the lid open and a door on one side.

With door closed fly pteradon to argy get it aggroed to Petra and slow fly through "open box lid" of trap and out the doorway in the back. Immediately dismount run to side with door and open it. Tada trapped argent. It cannot fly out with door open.

If you have a good enough rifle, you can matador one. If lag is not to bad and you are good shot you can knock it when it tries to retreat.

Completing the hunt argy pursuit gives you a quetzal saddle! The saddle is good quality too, I got an apprentice saddle.

Here’s a tip!! Simple taming pen: stone gate-way, stone pillars, stone roofs! Then a small Dino; like a Raptor or Pteranadon. Shoot, fly in, shut the door, tranq, wait 10 years, feed ‘em some prime, and BOOM!! You got a an Argent! Congrats! HAPPY TAMING!!!!

If ever you knocked one of this out you can opt to protect the argentavis while taming with 4 wooden spike wall to keep small predators away since they're more commonly lurking the area, the wooden spike walls are easy to make. If there are big predators you best take care of those first though since they go through the walls. Also works when taming other dinos.

I don’t understand why people use traps to tame them. They r so easy to knock out and tame without it. I tamed my on the side of a mountain and had no problem. ( I also got to see my first giga when getting it raw prime meat.

You can easily knock out and tame an argument if you kill another wolf animal near it and hit it with about 3 tranq darts or a few tranq arrows. If there’s a dead animal near it then it’ll target the animal to heal even if it’s being attacked. And if you manage to knock its healing then it’s good will already be low so you can get an easy argy tame within seconds. After it’s knocked out

Make sure you have 5 dinosaur gates and 2 doors 1sr step is to place the dinosaur gates together and the last one make sure you can get out of the last on then close the doors and u should have it trapped

BIG TIP IF U KNOCK OUT ARGY WHILE ITS HEALING ITS HUNGER WILL DROP SO MUCH AND U CAN TAME IT UNDER A MINUTE PROBALY

Make sure your using boosted stats if u play solo because if u don’t then you will need a trap

An easy trap that works like a charm for Argentavis, as well as other fliers, is a set of 5 Stone Gateways placed in a straight line(with a bit enough gap in between for your character to walk through, with a Reinforced Gate places on the two ending Gateways. Close the gate opposite of them direction the Argentavis will be entering from, and lead the Argentavis into the trap. Crouching helps sometimes, but normally you can just wait for the Argent to fly in, walk around it, and close the open gate the Argent flew in from. After that, just knock out like any other KO tame

I love these things I tamed two from Dead Island and have breed up! My tip is pump points into stamina if you want a travel bird and melee and health if you want a battle bird.

The best tame to get on single-player. Here's why:

- They can carry a lot of creatures so it's easy to put them in a trap to tame them.

- They are very powerful: with some points into hp and a lot of points into melee damage they can easily kill alphas.

- They have a lot of weight and weight reduction on some resources so you can carry your ankylo/doedic up to a mountain and easily harvest and carry hundreds of stone and metal back to base.

- They aren't the fastest mount but they do have a lot of stamina so they're pretty good scouts.

For a Quick and easy tame make a trap with three stone gate frames and two door and place them in a row and leave a space between the gate frames where you’re character can fit through and the argi can’t. Then lure the argi in to the trap and place the gates (you can also place the gates before and open them but personally I think it’s easier to place them when the argi is in the trap). Once it’s trapped use some sort of tranquilliser to almost knock it out, when it’s one or two shots from knocking out feed it a dead body so it gets the green healing effect and then knock it out. If done correctly it should be drained of food and insta tame with any sort of food but I recommend kibble or mutton.

It is easier than you think to tame. But it is costly. You are going to need to build a trap with four stone Dino gateways with a big enough gap for u to fit through lined up parallel creating a tunnel. On the two outside gateways are the only ones which you will need to place doors on. Open one of gateWay doors And lead the argie inside and run out the gap if you do not have tribe mates to help you close the door behind you you are going to quickly run out and around to shut the doors.

Argys are aggressive birld you need to be careful but luckily they aren't as fast a ptranadons so you should be able to out run... As a tip if you can't fight it is run to a stego and use it for cover if it trys to attack you it will hit the stego once it hits the stego run.

If u are new and make a easy server with settings that make everything easy, just need at the most 10 tranq arrows and this go does 100 level and below

--TAMING METHOD--

Step One: Make 4 wooden gateways and 2 wooden gates.

Step Two: Place the 4 gateways down in line one after the other like four archways making a sort of hallway. Leave gaps in between just small enough for your character to fit through.

Step Three: Place one gate on the gateway furthest fron your argy you wanna tame.

Step Four: Kite the argy until it is ready to fly into the trap.

Step 5: Let it fly in. (Allow it to hit you a few times. Its okay you won't die.) Place the gate on the outer gateway, trapping the argy inside.

Step 6: Run out and knock it :)
