The Argentavis is amazing for resource runs. The weight of Stone, Metal, Crystal, and Obsidian is halved. Also it works as a mobile smithy, meaning you can repair your metal tools on the go. They also have much higher Carry Weight than a Pteranadon and most of the time more Stamina and Melee Damage, so they can hold their own pretty well. They also have a crazy Health Regen buff when consuming corpses. Can also use it to transport bigger dinos. Their pretty slow though compared to most other flyers.

This guy is amazing in everything except speed but if you pump it up then he can be as fast as a Pterodactyl. I have a level 57 and he can kill Rex’s and Brontosaurus easy

This one of the best all around creature in the game, it carries a lot and has a weight reduction on most mineral resources and polymer, it can have great damage, and can also have high health and lots of stamina, this creature is a must tame and is a great traveler and harvester even into late game.

Catch them in an argentavis trap. Get a magnifying glass. Shoot them with narc arrows until it is just about to go unconscious (Use the magnifying glass to inspect the torpor) feed the argentavis a body. Imediately after it consumes the body shoot it with narc arrows to finish knocking it out (*if it does not have the green effect around it's head do not knock it out! If the effect is gone feed it another body) Purpose when the argentavis gets knocked out with the effect his hunger will already by very low. Super fast taming!

Bruh I found a lvl 104 ( highest I could find) and it was an amazing color wave, it looked like tan gums( The shoe ) but he escaped my trap somehow. He was flying in the ton corner and glitched out and flew away. Any tips for that?

Hi! It's astro again, leaving tips on dinos that you may want to tame.

The easy way on taming an argy/Agrentavis is to build a trap with dinosaur gates (Mostly stone regular dinosaur gates, not behemoth.) You place the gates in a row leaving you enough space to run out of the side. you put 2 doors on either side of the trap !!NOT ALL THE GATES. JUTS THE 2 ON THE ENDS!!, You will open the side with the argy, and keep the other side closed. You agro the argy, and run into the trap, and as it follows you, you're going to run out in one of the side cracks, loop around to the open door, and shut it.

Then you tranq the argy and hope for it to knock out. Then you feed it Prime meat, raw meat, mutton, or kibble (best ones)

If you run out of tranq arrows, do not panic, the argentavis' torpor is very low and will not drain a lot. Go back to your base, make more, the go back and keep tranqing. If your base is far away, ask a friend to keep come over with arrows and bring them to you.

Why is the argy good? Whats its purpose?

Well the argy is very good for carrying items. It has a reduced weight thing with stone, metal, metal ingots, and more. It will split it in half, making the difference by carrying twice as more to your base than needed

I found mine stuck in a rock so I shot it with tranqs with a crossbow in the head then broke the rock..so yeah

For instant tame just let it harvest a creature when it nearly falls asleep. Then knock it out, I tamed my first one of the server I am playing in, it took me a while ngl. But it was worth it since it exceeded the max level.

Me and my tribe of 3 used 20 arrows each and it didn’t knock.But our aim isn’t the best lol

They are a absolute pain to take if your getting a high level one but it is worth it. A level 200 argie can easily take on a Rex

Spawn on volcano near the snoe biome on the island. Bring a friend to trank and tapejara with saddle. Have friend use front passenger seat and face the argy and back up while they tranq, then feed meat.

Put a Compy in its mouth and it looks like it’s eating it

Don’t tame this thing while it flies over the forest.. Its unconscious body will be mauled by 10 raptors

Probably the best thing when starting out in order to grind metal. Arges have high carry weight meaning you get the biggest bang for you buck when flying to a mountain and back.

So heres quick taming method on ark mobile you need 3 dino gateways and 2 dino gates put them in front of each other in a row and make a little place in beetwen for you or your tame to get out of that little place after you set up these thing lure the argy in there and close the gate you dont need kibble or prime meat(you can use them for extra fast tame) after you lure in the argy you have to shoot a few tranq arrows or darts(for fast tame)after torpor is half way full you put bed next to trap and sleep after you wake up knock out argy and put meat,mutton,prime meat, ect. And it will tame under 3 minutes you won't even need narcos or bio

One of the most easiest tames ever. Tranq them prime meat or kibble slap that soothing balm (if a high level) ta daa!!! Say hello to your new argentavis. It's so easy a ran on foot and knocked it out aim for the head they do bonus torpor.

Do not let your argy attack another flying creature they will fly up and ascend to heaven they don’t die but you’ll never see them again

If collecting metal, stone, and wood. Get a farming team that consists of a anky, beaver, and a doedicurus. Collect materials with them and keep designated materials in the inventory as the have weight reduction on them. Pick this dinos up with an arge and you can carry more of these materials then you would with just the arge. I know a lot of people already know this but just had a buddy who didn’t so figured I would say something just incase others don’t.
