If you want to tame this animal go to hurbevor vor Island there are tons of them there as long as you bring megoberrys or kibble they can be goo levela

Shoot until it falls down and just put berries in him it’s a waste for kibble and use tranq darts instead of arrows it’s much easier than tranq arrows

To find them easily use any flying Dino to spot it. Then get'em

Really easy get a argy grab one come back to base I would recommend having a tall building with a hole at the top to fit it, drop it in go to bed or forget about it for a little while but make sure to come back then knock it our. ( just keep turning, they are really slow at turns) knock it out with tranqs then give it crops and in a few seconds you got one.

The goldish stones in the volcano give much more metal

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST, I have one in a cryopod so I would just get on my argy fly around and find the gold metal deposits, I would then fling my anky out of its cryopod and gather the metal put it on my argy, then put my anky back into it's cryopod. Then once my argy could barely fly I would get rid of my junk materials on me to lighten the load and head back home. (I now have enough metal where I would go out for a while and when I come back to my base I still have about 600 metal in my refining forge still trying to get smelted)

They are good at harvesting metal and the best place to find them on the island are the mountains herbivore island and the red woods they can be picked up by argys, wyverns and crystal wyverns too , quetzal

Between this creature and the mining drill and an decent weight arg, you'll be able to carry tons worth of metal and stone.

These guys will be your first step towards a metal base! Ankys will gather metal very efficiently for you to smelt and use!

The anky is one of the best collectors for metal and flint

These guys are really good for getting metal and decently easy to tame for a bigger that’s just starting out and needs some metal.

Hold with argentavis and shoot in the body to knock out easily

Use an argy to bring it to a taming pen, use darts, and tame it.

These boys give you so much metal and if you have a high level one the will keep you super safe I was in my official sever and heard a rex roar it took a bite out of me the my anky comes in and it says your anky level 242 killed lvl 100 rex

Make the saddle first then tame it. It makes life easier

If you have access to one, a boomerang is perfect, they run too slow so a boomerang can knock em out without you being hit once, then give it berries and watch it like an argentavis (hawk), you never know if they'll wake up or not

This guy is REALLY good early game to get metal. But if you have Genesis or the server is custom to let you have one without Genesis, then the mining drill is far superior.
