Ankys are very easy to tame.

1. You don't need to make any traps for it.

2. It's very slow

3. It is not necessary to have a high level, just make sure to level it up on weight.

This creature is very useful in single player because of the need of metal for tools, saddles, shotguns, rifles, etc. In pvp it’s essential because metal is might! To tame you just need a slingshot and berries, even though tranq arrows are much better. One of the best creatures in Ark.

If you level up their Melee Damage stat, they gather more Metal Ore.

I know everyone knows this, but they are better at harvesting more Metal Ore than a Metal Pickaxe, Dododex says that but it is wrong.

Ankylosaurus is a good midgame metal collecter get like 10 15 tranq arrows find a good anky make sure there are know other ankys in the area and walk backwards shooting tranqs at him until unconscious then put like 150 berries in his inventory make sure you get like 20 narcotics watch him and make sure to feed him narcotics every while and your anky is ready to go

how to tame: im sure you have access to tranc arrors im sure you know what to do you numbskull.

Bring a karkinos and a mating pair. You can hold one with karkinos and have a friend gather with the other. Ankys get a 30% more resource yield which is nice when having mate boost

AMAZING all around tame for genesis 1, collects anything you need from starter to medium level materials. Movement speed and weight upgrade pts required!

These guys are pretty easy to tame, they are really slow. But if you are taming one that’s high level and has a lot of torpor you might need a sort of trap so they don’t run around. Idk if it would work but it might.

The Anky is slow and steady- he might not be a PvP Demon but he’ll make sure your metal supplies never run dry

These are must haves for going to the moutains, and obtaining metal. They collect lots of thatch, yet small amounts of wood. They can also collect berries, and rocks. If you go to a metal rock you get lots of metal and rock by using an ankylo. If you go to a normal rock, you get lots of flint with the ankylo. I guess you could say they collect everything. They are also pretty tanky.

Argies can also be fit with them.

Dont go near them if they are in a pack and you have low level Dinos that are stupid enough to attack them. Rip my 2 Iguanodons, my Dimorphodon and my new Scorpio >-<

Its super easy to tame, it's slow, so just shoot and whirl around it until you get it half health, then start shooting it with a slingshot until it's knocked out. Done, now go ahead and tame it.

Tame this if you want metal, find a anky tranq it out with whatever u got, tranq darts, arrows, etc, then just feed it crops or mejoberrys, then u have a anky! Get these for metal.

If you were a low level can you want to pump most your levelsinto speed just keep hitting them with slingshot

Whenever I don't need them they are everywhere but when I need them I can't find them I've been flying on my ptereanadon and can't find any pls help

If you want to tame this animal go to hurbevor vor Island there are tons of them there as long as you bring megoberrys or kibble they can be goo levela

Shoot until it falls down and just put berries in him it’s a waste for kibble and use tranq darts instead of arrows it’s much easier than tranq arrows
