On mobile it’s mostly in redwood peak in pc it’s common in herb island

Go to herbivore island there’s lots of Ankylos there

Neutral wild, will only attack if provoked, mostly found in easier zones

Can sometimes be found on the NW argentavis peninsula on the Island

The Anky can destroy metal or but not metal walls ?!!

You find them in dangerous areas, where there are Rexs, carnos, or/and spinos. I found mine by the triple water fall on the west side of the map by the snow biome

This boi hate predators if you being chase just run over this Bois and some herbivore that can fight back

If looking for anky go to herbivore Island bottom right corner of map there's an abundance there

Ankys are much faster in water than on land and are able to tank most of the megladons right off the edge of the shore

Herbivore Island is a place where you can find LOTS of herbivores, especially these guys, so I suggest riding a water mount to get there.

(P.S: Herbivore Island is a good place to set your base, since there are no enemies there.)

Tame one, lvl up health, stam, speed and damage as high as possible then go destroy rock golems and gather rare resources. Best dino for it. Tamed 3 and destroyed a golem in 3 whacks of their tails. Happy Hunting.

Don’t shoot it in the head, It takes reduced torpor from headshots cause of armor, go for the legs cause I’ve seen that it takes more torpor that way

They can hit like a truck at high levels or if You don’t have armor but they are slow so stay at a range and take shots at them.

They’re very nice for taining put all lvl’s on health eaisily let the dino attack it and shoot tranq arrows/darts.

Ankys are not a Dino that is going to go after you unless you hit them first and even if they are after you outrunning them is literally the easiest thing in the world, you almost walk faster than their run so you literally don’t need a brain to escape them, now in terms of killing them, I mean it’s not very difficult at all honestly, they’re pretty tanky sure but their attacks are slow have almost no range and generally won’t hit you unless you let them.

Im level 50 but idk where herbivore island can someone pls point it out where to fins it bc I need these guys

In genesis you can find them in the snow biom

The best spot got high levels is in the volcano biom

I live by herbivore island and I took my raft to it and I found a lot of ankylosaurus

These are surprisingly easy to find on herbivore island I have found multiple so far.
