How to Tame an Ank Very Early Game

Find a low-ish level ank (for me lvl 20) and just hit them with a slingshot until knocked out. You can outrun them even while facing them. Tame with mejoberries. Slingshots will not kill your ank unless you hit them sporadically, so try to keep hitting them in one go.

It’s an easy tame just run around it in circles they have slow turning while shooting it with a normal bow they don’t need neuro usually

Do they do anything on wander?

It is very easy to tame and it is necessary. Very slow creature, can be simply tamed with a crossbow and running when it gets closer

Best metal collecter. Awesome for metal structures and tools. Get an argy, bring the anky with, get metal and other mats, put some on argy, put metal on anky. Get home with your loot.

He gets tons of metal, flint, obsidian, ambergris, and be sure to pair with a flyer or else it’s gonna be a long walk home

Mining drill is better than the anky for metal

If you want to tame one, get a crossbow with narc arrows then utilize its wide turn and kite it. Very easy KO if done this way. They travel in herds so try to find one away from the group. Happy taming!

One of the best tames in the game. It is an excellent work dino, it can harvest almost any resource especially metal,obsidian,flint,crystal. It can also be a powerful war dino, put points into HP and Melee Damage, it's aoe attack can be devastating to medium/small dinos. The ankylosaurus' only downside is it's speed. I'm an ank fanboy to say the least.

They have buff of metals u just need this guy with weight and dmg and 1 quetz ez for metal farm

Idk but it says Anky's can't destroy stone but I've seen during a countr raid my Anky was a stowaway on their boat (with me n my Tera) and I was getting ready to jump in front of the boat while it was driving but they were stopped and I was guarding my Anky bc it was hammering on their doorframe and the Anky destroyed it! I'm so confused about that ever since, was it a glitch or something but after it broke in RIP 125 Anky he got us a lot of ascended gear~marineparkkid, Xbox one ark no life

I think u can knock him down with a lightning wyvern that can help alot.

It is not fun being in the middle a threesome with this Dino and 2 stevia after u steal there egg.
