Tips & Strategies

What are tips for ankylosaurus? Tips and strategies for ankylosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
It is really an easy but worth tame. Have a crossbow and some tranqs (have a lot of tranqs incase of emergency). Shoot it in the head not their back. Dnt stand still, look if there are it's part ners or not then walk back and shoot. Eventually they get knocked out. I would recommend a little narcotics and berries bcz they are cheap. Ta daa u tamed it.
I was taking a trip to the mountain with 3 pteradon and then I saw one I was so happy so I started tranq ING it immediately but I forgot to set my pteradon to passive...
The spikes on it's back stick out from under the saddle, but you can ride it. Unlike a kentrosaurus. Well...
To know them out just keep walking back and shooting them with darts or arrows then put berries if you have high tame rates or if you have no kibble and if you have kibble then use it same goes for x-ankylo just make sure not to get hit and to bring lots of arrows because they have increased health damage and torpor
It takes me 2 days RL to fin A LEVEL 100
Ankylos are pretty easy to tame. They only take a while to tame but their torpor doesn't go down quick so it's not too hard to tame one... Just knock them out while walking backwards (no trap needed) and once knocked out I highly suggest covering with spike walls. Metal is best but wood does fine it will protect the anky from attacks and make it easier to spot, just leave a gap so that you can access it's inventory. It gathers berries OK, not as good as the trike due to its slow movement speed but works in a pinch if they're not around. Anky's have crap weight but since metal weighs less in them it's not too bad. I just chuck the stone and flint I get since I can get that from smashing normal stones later if I need them. Getting an argent is recommended. I plan on getting more anky's. One with melee damage, others with weight to carry mire metal back to base since mine is in a mountain... Overall they're an upgraded pick that collects berries not meat...
Shoot it in the head with tranq darts/arrows and run around it in circles
