Great HP pool. While riding, it gives you insulation from hot and cold. In order to get its saddle, you gotta tame it, walk up to it and use the scroll wheel, you’ll see retrieve spike.

It Can shoot out his 2 types of spikes. Frost spikes which freeze you enemies like a snow owl. And fire spikes which is more affective towards Thatch and wood which it sends a blazing.

Utility-

Pack mule- decent weight for the job + it’s unusual fast for a sauropod and it can swim fairly fast

Living mortar- its spikes have a curved projectory and so they’re mortars, they have three modes, fire, ice and standard amour denting, thing.

Sap collecter (aid) - the spikes increase the yield of tree sap taps

After a bit of playing around I found out this Dino is absolute dog water when it comes to healing. Unless you have a constant supply of veggie cakes to keep it topped up, enjoy the flashing red low health screen cuz you’re gonna see a lot of it.

You can make these guys into walking tanks, the high level ones have good amount of health just becareful of what you run into lol (psst you can make it run one way while shooting.)
