You can easily tame a few diplodocus, level up their health and then unclaimed them, after that you can take your amargasaurus and kill the diplodocus.

Get it in a drop trap, lose aggro, sync heat and lure creatures to it. Makes taming 100% easier.

Tip if you want to tame it I would lead it to a ravine and make a simple trap.

No one has said this that I can see, but you need to bring veggie cakes to heal them if they get hurt.

For someone who asked they vont even care ark mobile or nindendo these thing wont be added into those and not any dinos will be added to mobile/nindendo.

Tamed two level 150’s this week for the first time. I did it without using a trap or veggie cakes as they are resource heavy.

Bring a mastercraft or Ascendent shotgun or assault rifle, a cryo podded snow owl, 10-15 extraordinary kibble depending on your taming rates, 5-10 soups to sync temp and 200 - 300 shotgun ammo atleast. It’s really helpful to have a sinomacrops so you can scout ahead easily as well. (You don’t wanna run into a large group of carnivores).

Now go to the desert biome and find a high level, run around with it on foot shotgunning wolves, scorpions, and Carnos etc as you go. You want to find Daedons, they make it so much easier, shoot them then run in a circle with your amarg taking pot shots at the daedons, because they are Tanky you get lots of taming percentage. Rinse repeat. Use the snow owl if your amarg takes damage.

They also eat sweet cake, along side kibble, veg and berries. And failer to give them what they want they stop following and taming goes down.

Also be aware when taiming theses psyco dinos there is a high probability they will die. I suggest a trap for their own safty, because they will attack everything regardless of their health.

Hello I am the tame helper today am going to tell you how to tame a amargasaurs I recommend taking them to a place with low level creatures to kill you should use a pump action shotgun and eat all that fria curry!

Remember when all you had to do to tame something was to just shoot it with some tranqs?

Watch out for spikes wear Ghillie suit.

If you going to tame it make sure you have a strategy. It will follow you when started taming for hunting so you can lead it to anywhere. And make sure to watch your back too you DONT wanna loose it :,D.

It gets taming progress by damaging aggressive / hostile creatures. Trap the Amargasaurus, then lure preferably a Daeodon to attack it after you have synced ten. Have a snow owl ready to heal both the Daeodon and the Amargasaurus after shooting the pig for a bit (don’t kill the aggressive creature). This process takes about 45 minutes for a 150 and is an easy way to perfect tame them.

They will follow you when the taming starts becareful of where you running into base on its level

To tame, have the effects of an insulating soup on you, I personally use fria curry. The creature is aggressive unless you have the soup effects on. When you approach the creature with the insulating effects on, it will give you the option to sync temperatures. Do this, then lead it to any medium or small aggressive creatures nearby. I prefer to use sabertooth, because they are in small groups and do little damage, but any creature can work. Hunt with the Amargasaur until it says it is hungry from hunting. Feed it and repeat. Be warned that attacking it will stop the taming and it will aggro on you. Taking lots of damage will drain effectiveness
