Watch out for spikes wear Ghillie suit.

If you going to tame it make sure you have a strategy. It will follow you when started taming for hunting so you can lead it to anywhere. And make sure to watch your back too you DONT wanna loose it :,D.

The have the ability to reduce armor by launching spikes or its neck swing attack(purple spike). And fire and ice we all know what that does lol

These guys are so spamable infinite ammo(spikes) although they take time to regenerate back. Can be used to pepper an entire area with fire/cold spikes, dealing DOT and freezing the enemy for the cold spikes.

Log 1:

It’s aggressive when wild. Shoots fire and ice spike. Ice will freeze enemy if they are close to the barb for so long. Fire will do insane fire damage. I believe it depends what area there in. If in, snow ice spikes. And vice versa. Don’t go toward them unless you have the necessary items. I’d recommend waiting for the items needed to show up on dododex. Until the next time. Keep surviving and never give up.

I was running around on my amargasuarus when I figured out the just switching spike as animals bite at you does the most damage out of all the attacks useful for wyvern as well since the fly right Into spike wiggling range

So the unique effect of armor reduction that can stack, does not effect bosses...

There is sooo many high levels in the snow biome

Amargasaurus like all sauropods can be stood on, this is a good thing as they can be used to help builds, making that less tricky, you could also use one to peek down a cliff and see what's there a little more up close.

Cold and Heat spikes will break in contact with water

It gets taming progress by damaging aggressive / hostile creatures. Trap the Amargasaurus, then lure preferably a Daeodon to attack it after you have synced ten. Have a snow owl ready to heal both the Daeodon and the Amargasaurus after shooting the pig for a bit (don’t kill the aggressive creature). This process takes about 45 minutes for a 150 and is an easy way to perfect tame them.

They will follow you when the taming starts becareful of where you running into base on its level

To tame, have the effects of an insulating soup on you, I personally use fria curry. The creature is aggressive unless you have the soup effects on. When you approach the creature with the insulating effects on, it will give you the option to sync temperatures. Do this, then lead it to any medium or small aggressive creatures nearby. I prefer to use sabertooth, because they are in small groups and do little damage, but any creature can work. Hunt with the Amargasaur until it says it is hungry from hunting. Feed it and repeat. Be warned that attacking it will stop the taming and it will aggro on you. Taking lots of damage will drain effectiveness

It will be able to just get tree sap when it hits a redwood tree and also it’s spikes will be able to be harvested and made into weapons
