After you start the taming process uncryo a giga and go after Rex megatheriums and Yuty mostly. Make sure giga is on passive so it doesn’t hit the amargasaur when you hop off to feed kibble. Oh and avoid Agro range of any other wild amargasaur. Pretty easy tame with this method.

Here's part 3! Of all the creatures in the sauropod family, Amargasaurus titanicus is likely the most unique in appearance. It sports two parallel rows of dorsal spines down the length of its neck, back, and tail--though the neck spines are significantly longer than the back of tail spines. These spines are a remarkable adaptation, giving Amargasaurus unmatched control of its body temperature. Made even more marvelous by their time on this ARK, their spines store both extreme heat AND extreme cold, effectively allowing Amargasaurus to live comfortably in any environment. It's sails also make it an abnormally capable swimmer, for a sauropod. Unlike most sauropods, Amargasaurus is very prone to violent aggression, attacking most predators (and humans!) on sight. I suspect this behavior developed alongside the dangerous spines it uses as weapons.

No I don’t think this should be an early tame, bc if you read the dossier, if I am correct, the spines of the armargasuarus (apologies for misspelling) emites temperatures that roast or freeze advanced armor. Flak armor doesn’t appear until mid game therefore it should be a mid game to an early end game tame

These things are really good for pvp if its good

IMPORTANT TIP: bring tanky ish dinos, don’t be on a Dino when fighting for amarga, use a pistol. Every shot you take the percent goes up! Yes you can trap them. I used stone foundations and door frames 3 high to keep it in. Good luck !
