Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a allosaurus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a allosaurus.
I build up on pillar and shoot them with tranq darts or arrow
I shot 23 arrows into a level 12 gray Allo cross bow broke so I got off the rock started punching it XD knocked it out by fist XD
The cliff method works best for these beauties. Items needed are: necessary amount of biotoxin, crossbow ( two is better ), flying mount ( optional ), necessary amount of tranq arrows to knock it out, stone arrows, a high damage projectile, and an area with cliffs, rocks, and a bunch of stegos.
First, if needed, use the flyer to lure the allosaur(s) to a cliff or tall rock where they can’t reach you, then stay on the cliff. Then, simply shoot it with tranq arrows until knocked out. If it gets too low on health, leave it be and wait for it to heal. If it loses interest in you hit it with a regular arrow or any low damage projectile to get it to aggro and shoot it w tranqs until unconscious. Now here’s where thestegos come in. Stand on a tall rock unreachable by the stegos and kill them with a crossbow or other projectile and here you have a pretty easy source of prime meat. Keep your allo in check with biotoxin and you’ll have a new tame in no time!
What did not know you. Could make them fart like what
get to a elevated positision kill the low levels and tame the high not that hard did at level 29
can’t be carried by quetzal i tried
I think they eat meat. Nm they eat berries
Tame it isnt difficult if you find him alone, but he never will be alone
I saw a video if you use a 4x4 stone platform and stone dinosaur gates at Both ends they won't get out when you shut it behind you but make it high enough so they don't get glitched out
Dont try and tame them unless your getting 3 of them as one isnt as good as 3 so definitely go for 3 as one isnt worth it
Just find a two pack, take 28 tranq arrows, 12 darts, and 6 toxic arrows. Then get on a animal with 2863 hp and pelt the Allosaurus with you items. Tame with prime meat or prime cooked meat. I tamed a Allosaurus and Rex that day. AT. THE. SAME. TIME. (Because I found a...you know. Just read My Story with Rex.)
If you can not trap it, the best thing to do is ure the others from it to rid of the pack bonus and then find a ledge to shoot it from. make sure to have a quick mount near by like a raptor or terror bird because they like to run and since you can fire a crossbow while mounted you can easily keep pace and drop it.
Trap them in 3 behemoth gates in a triangle you can get the whole pack that way
Keep your distance of you're on a lower level flyer. The speed debuff from the pack leader can be a death sentence if the whole pack starts chewing on you.
Best way if you are going for low level egg layers is to knock the whole pack out from a quetzal platform. They will not attack other allosaurus when they are unconscious. Then you can do all the tames at once. For high levels you can knock them all out and just kill the others you don't want.
Make a taming pen in your base and just bring it there, then get on the upper part where he cant reach and fire away
So I just tame an Allo solo. But it don't careful planning. You must first be willing to die a few times but at the end it's all worth it. They're always in groups so the first step is to lure them away from each other. The best way is to make one follow you and run towards a hill or cliff where they can stay. If you gain the high ground use a crossbow to damage one. It would eventually run away. Have at least 30 tranq arrows. It can surely take a beating but usually with 18-24 tranq arrows would KO it. The good thing is that since it's an allo, other allo's won't eat it or attack it
An easy way to tame an allosaurs is to kill the 2 weaker allosaurs then find a perch where the allosaur cant reach and aim for the head
What I did to tame one was I got lucky and found one by itself, then I made an agrentavis trap and ran through it while the allo was agroed on me, closed the gate and used it as if it was an Actual argentavis. Worked like a charm.
Here’s my tip, if you try to tame them. Have a Rex on standby in case you are outmatched. TRUST ME
