When looking in the area of a allo make sure to kill everything in the area so the can spawn I have also found some outside the artifact of the clever cave

A really annoying bug with allos is that if you lead them into a trap with a flyer they will stand over it and attack so you can fly or walk away your just stuck there. I lost my snow owl to this bug

Guys it's better if you make a trap than knocking it our with a flyer bec it's fast.. On my experience if that after I killed the others first without a trap it's torpor rate got high but it escaped then after I found it again it had allies then I did the same thing again. Again. Again. And again so it's better if you use a trap.

If you happen to encounter to Allis stuck inside each other for some reason the tranqs don't count, Cause I found 2 stuck inside each other the highest being a level 42 I shot 80 arrows into them and neither got knocked, the other was a level 8

Saw a level 150 and started shooting it the game glitched and I only shot it one and it knocked out now I have and absolute beast he is a pack leader

Kill the other allos in the area then build a trap and lure it in ( for the island only a good spot for a trap is under a pile of rock in the shape of an A in south zone 2)

Try to get it away from the rest of the pack to make it easier

These guys are a simple knockout, bring a long neck rifle with tranq darts, and a pump shotgun with 80 ish rounds to fend off wild dinos and the other allos in the pack, always tame the alpha of the pack!

It’s often hard to tame because of its pack, but you can just feed its pack to it instead of bringing meat.

I usually tame them on the mountain in the redwoods. It’s good to get the high ground, shoot it’s friends, then tranq it with darts.

How to tame one.

1.If you find pack try getting one far from rest so you can tame it.

2.These things can be picked up by quetz so if you have prison of some kind pick one throw it in and knock him out,but if you don't have quetz go one large rock and knock him out.

I was going to tame a Lvl. 130 in Genesis Part 2 but what I didn't do was kill of the carnivores near it so when I knocked it out I had to fight with a pack of direwolves, a bunch of Snow Owls and even a Rex. So be careful and clear the area around it before you start to tame it.

I have gone out to tame an allo 3 times and haven’t got one yet but instead have come back with a tek Rex a Yuti and a Megalosaurus

Now you can netgun them with the genesis 2’s net launcher.

I know this is a tip section but i am actually in search for a tip. My female allo isn't laying eggs. It's been 4 days since i had tamed her because i will soon be taming a griffin but i got no eggs and also i have placed an oviraptor beside her to decrease the time for laying eggs but still no result. Please tell me if i am missing something...??

They cant be carried by Quetzal on Mobile,i have tried multiple times....plus thay always glitch out of traps.I have built three walls high traps but still they glitch out of it.I hope wildcard fix this because right now its so hard to tame an allo on mobile.Allo is not a good creature,its main ability come when he fights in pack.Plus its kibble(Mobile) can be used to tame Gryffins.

Much like rex, yet somehow worse. Build a 2x2x2 cage, and this is where paths of taming branch off. Path A, aka the kiting way. You can encounter a lone allo sometimes, but most of the time it’s a group of them, likely three specimen. Pick out the desired level and kill the rest - an imprint ptera with high enough stamina(aim for like 700-1k, micromanage your stamina so you don’t drop to your demise) can get the job done since they are kinda squishy. Kite the desired one into the taming cage, make sure you got ramps. You may need to try a couple of times, depending on the terrain, as they might just fly over the darn thing(thanks Ark!). Path B, special delivery. Allos are grabbable with wyverns and quetzals. Grab a desired one and deliver it to the cage away from the rest of the pack. There you can either kite it again or practice your aim and just drop it.

Well I was on my argentavis bloodwing then I saw a level 150 allo I pelted it with tranque ammo then I killed 5 stego with my shotgun and then I waited 1 hour.... Kaboom I have a level 150 allo
