I was walking on the ps4 on ark to my base and then near my base with all my Dino's I see an alpha allo and to others I got closer to see the levels and they attacked me I was at lv 29 and they were around 30 I thought I would die but I pulled out my crossbow with tranquil arrows and started shooting and the two regular allos ran but the alpha kept attacking soon she ran and got stuck in a tree so I shot her as many times as possible and she fainted! Me and my bro got to tame her now you know alphas are actually tameble.

Look out, there is a glitch in the game where they go through walls (at least metal) we got wiped, by allosuars.
The speed to outrun allos on pc and console is 130 movement speed and on mobile 122 movement speed
Don’t get close on Rexes or you will not be able to escape but if you’re trying to tame them then it’s okay but I recommend that you get on a high rock that they can’t climb
If you don't wanna trap it get it distracted on a diplo and tranq it. If available feed it superior kibble if you dont have superior kibble feed it raw mutton, raw prime meat or raw meat. If you have the whole pack distracted on a diplo this may take a along time but youll be successful.
