if your a 50 or 80 level and you found a pack of allo's ready some tranq arrows narcotics kill all the higher ones tame the lowest one because if your trying to tame a high one like a level 256 its hard if its low like 12,15,5,1 thats easy to tame and when you tame it it already levels up and if you train it or hunt some food with it you can level it up more.

I recommend knocking out the one you want to tame first then killing the others I used a journey man rifle and it only took two tranq darts for a lvl1 then it’s pretty easy to tame afterwards

If you're going to tame the alpha one then lead only the alpha or tame the entire group. If you don't want to then realese the rest of the pack members.

lots of annoying hostiles ignore players riding allos. traveling through a swamp has never been so easy

The allosaurus is kinda weak with only 600-800hp

They are easy to kill allo but hard to tame you will need: 1.a bear tarp. 2.30 tranq aroow. 3.3 dipol kibble or raw prime meat and your allo has tame.
