I once knocked one out by kicking it repeatedly with an equus (no tranq darts used) but I don’t recommend this method if your equus is low level or the allosaurus is high level.

I like to kill them with a simple pistol and my high health trike.

If you see a pack of these go in the opposite direction and wait for them to pass. I tamed a lvl 30 Rex and was leading it back to base when I saw a pack so I tried to take the long way around them... I ended up having the Rex and me get destroyed. (They can move long distances in the wild in a short time)

get a turtle if you want to destroy this guy ((a high lvl turtle but idk about pack ones so just get multiple turtles and you will live hopefully thats how i deal with them))

I prefer to kidnap them with my Quetz and bring ‘em to “trap island” (herb island) and throw them in trap. Tranq ‘em and bam! you have yourself an allo.

Ascended: I built a 3x3 box with 3 high short doors with a stone ramp to the top. I was able to get 3 Allos to come up the ramp fall into the box. Had to run the others off a cliff bc they wouldn’t fit. No they won’t hurt the body’s of the ones that get tranq’d first. Tamed 3 in one shot! Had to walk them across the map which took an entire day though! We want Cryopods!!!! Wtf

Can kill alpha carbon pretty easy, there basic attack has enough knockback to keep it at bay.

Be sure to focus on the underlings when running into these guys. They're not really that dangerous if you're on a Rex, Thezi, Carno & even a decent trike can destroy these guys, just remove the underlings and their Alpha bonus is gone, making them no more dangerous than a small group of Dilos.

Don't get boxed in and you'll be fine and if you do get boxed in just be sure to aim for an underling, your goal is to remove the pack bonus off the Alpha, never had an issue with these guys, not even on foot.
