The allosaurus

Temperament: aggressive. If it sees you and you are in Aggro range, it will make a beeline right for you, or your tames. The best way to counter is a strong mount that can take a beating, or a really fast one to run away.

Diet: carnivore, so the best food is mutton, prime meat, or cooked options.

Taming: the easiest way to tame these guys is a trap, they are decently big, although in the smaller size compared to a Rex or other Rex sized Creature. If you want to tame it make a 3x9 stone foundation square, and make stone doorframes three high for walls, then some ramps so you can lead it in. Get aggro then run through trap or around to the back. And you should have it in. Keep in mind allow come in packs of 1-4 so make sure you have enough tranqs for all of them. If you don’t want four allos then kill off the lower levels and take the pack leader and lead in to the trap. Then it’s easy, tranq and repeat for others.

Uses: allos are great pack hunters, and have a pack buff when there are two or more. They can shred when there are a lot and can take down big things in packs of 3 or four. I had a group of 11 (all above 200) take out a lvl 450 giga on a 10x server. Overall great mounts for battle, traversing terrain, especially dangerous areas like the volcano and the bog.

How to tame an allosaurus if playing on mobile:

Allos like diplodocus kibble, which needs rare flowers instead of prime meat jerky. You can find plenty of rare flowers in beaver dams, and moschops can also gather them. These guys are awesome, but the babies are UGLY. If you decide to breed these, prepare yourself for the monstrosity that is baby Allos.

Be careful for the bleed I was on my argitavis and it did a lot of damage from the bleed

Tame three or more and the highest level will get the alpha boost.

Here is how to tame the :Allosaurus it is a knockout tame you will about 1 crossbow made from smithy then 20 to 60 tranq arrows after that you will give raw or raw prime meat and boom you have a Allosaurus make a saddle and it’s a decent mount

If you have a quetzal or wyvern just fly over and pick up the leader of the pack. Then drop it off in a premade trap(and yes. I do know how pretentious that sounds)

On mobile they take along time to lay null eggs but pair it with a male and oviraptor to slightly speed it up

Every allosarous spawn with a pack. Every pack has 3-4,try not to mess with the alpha they will make you bleed to death.

I once spawned in the tundra and I got killed by a pack of 3 allosaurus.

Morel... don’t spawn in the tundra.

Half of the time, I always see these things stuck in trees. Amazing tame though if you get a pack of three and then breed them.

When fighting them don't go for the alpha kill the weakest then the alpha will lose to 20% damage reduction

I like 5x5 stone fence foundation, walled with stone windows. stacked two high and a dino gate at the end. This way you can trap a whole pack and pick off the low level ones.

1. Good for traveling, pretty fast and most things will ignore you

2. Good for hunting meat
