Be careful when trying to knock it out. The info on tranq arrows needed are completely off from this app. Needed more than double than was shown in app.

I tamed a lot of allos so the best thing to do is get tranq darts and large bear traps. Lure them in the bear traps then surround them with a lot more and then just shoot it works very well

Allosaurus are useful for meat farming. Also its fast and you can make a pack of them for a buff

If you tame a high level one you can easily get its health to 20k which is almost the same as rexes but they are faster and the alpha slows down enemy's so really important to tame

they spawn in groups i tamed 3 at once using a taming pens with dino gates and a ramp this way i could easily get a large pack for a raid

Make a taming pin.. just spent 45 minutes and around 350 trans arrows corraling two Allo's (Lag and maybe a bad shot) ..they take more arrows than the app says. I was using a masfercraft bow..flee mechanic is no joke

Given the circumstances kill the alpha to take away the boost. Or you can kill the 2 others so you can tame the higher level Allosaurus. (I suggest doing this in a relatively open spot so if you need to get meat and other supplies you will be able to find it easily without effectiveness dropping.

From my encounter with them they run in threes so watch ur back

Really not that hard to take if you've got some prime meat on you! They can be quite scary when you come across them at a low level, I takes one of these whilst out with my tribe in the eastern area, only a level 4 though...Took a few tranqs from a crossbow to take it out, but it was worth it! I'm only level 57, so I don't know how they are to ride yet!

Kill the lowest lvl allo in the pack from high ground. When I say higj ground, like on the back of quetzal or cliff. These suckers can climb. Once one is dead, you will need like 4x tranqs what this app says. After that it is pretty easy.

If you get 6-12 of them and make them all three same level they will all get the packages leader bones. On my server I have 13 level 280s running around 1 aggressive the rest neutral on follow and they kill everything even a giga that was wondering to close to our base

When I started I always wanted one although there too strong in a pack kill both but the leader as the leader is the best one in stats as of level I have 13 of he now so less chating get the them 😝

Tribe told me to man up and take a pack down sad to say I lost my high level rex due to 18 or more in the pack all 75-150 with multiple pack leaders attacking from all sides with another wave ready after they died.Play it smart and check the pack first.

If your taming one and its in a pack,eithrr seperate the alpha by killing the othrrs or kiting them away. Makes everything alot easier

Create a 3x5 taming pen at least 3 walls high with wooden ramps at one end. While on a flyer, gain aggro and lead the Allosauraus up the ramp and into the taming pen. Then Tranq away.

If you can kill off the two weaker Allosauraus in the pack that you do not wish to tame then do so, it will make this method easier to perform. The easiest way to kill the other two is with a long neck rifle from the back of a Quetzal platform saddle.
