What are tips for allosaurus? Tips and strategies for allosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
The best defense against these guys is a couple of max level Trikes. Make sure to take care of high levels with the charge attack.
Catch him in a big bear trap. Best to put more than 10 traps. Then shoot dinosaur with stun darts. Usually 20 - 50 darts.
Allosauruses make excellent ambush-attack tames. Their speed lets them get in close, and their awesome attack power can take out dinos quickly. The key to KOing them is making it quick. I'd recommend killing two before taming the last one. Killing them off one by one is risky, so try killing them both at the same time. If you want, tame the highest level one (once it's buff and pack are gone it'll be slot easier). Try and knock it out in a group effort so nobody gets targeted by the Allo too much. Use tranq darts as they should help you knock out a low to mid level Allo. Once they're down, stuff some prime meat down their government and start the Torpidity Timer - Jake
I like to use them in a war as a flanking or holding unit, when you flank with them it pins them in place with the alpha slow and bleed and with the high attack speed(normally have about 20 in my pack to flank) for holding they should just be lvl in hp and with alpha taking less damage and mate bonus they become really fk tanky they can hold long enough for you to run away or to pick out the prime target
The starve timer seems a bit off... was taking a lvl 55 and it should have been left for about another ten minutes.
You can use ferimone darts to get rid of the unwanted Allos.
One foundation Stone hut two stories tall with the second story all door frames allo can't hurt you but your able to tranq them but they will run when there torpor gets low
It would be cool if in order to tame more allos you could challenge the leader of a wild group, and if you killed it the others would follow yours for a some time. In order to have them permanently you would have to passive tame from your allo
Up and maybe devs will see
Theres are about 7-8 spawn near my base then i counter it with spike wall ez bruh
I found a allosarus near the where Griffin are found it was of 135 level and it was way to hard to nockout
All taming tips
You will need trank darts/arrows, gun/bow, behemoth Dino gates, a fast horse, and a cliff. (Last one is optional.)
Make a trap. Then find the allo you want. Get it and it’s pack to follow you. Get your allo in a trap. Make the other allos fall off the cliff or trap them two.
You just need an imprinted horse with about 200% speed. Than you can shoot from its back while running away, they cant catch up and you can tranq them out. However, They need a lot of tranq darts.
Can find these in the south on the beaches near Hunter artifact cave and near herbivore island be careful!
When looking in the area of a allo make sure to kill everything in the area so the can spawn I have also found some outside the artifact of the clever cave
A really annoying bug with allos is that if you lead them into a trap with a flyer they will stand over it and attack so you can fly or walk away your just stuck there. I lost my snow owl to this bug
Guys it's better if you make a trap than knocking it our with a flyer bec it's fast.. On my experience if that after I killed the others first without a trap it's torpor rate got high but it escaped then after I found it again it had allies then I did the same thing again. Again. Again. And again so it's better if you use a trap.
If you happen to encounter to Allis stuck inside each other for some reason the tranqs don't count, Cause I found 2 stuck inside each other the highest being a level 42 I shot 80 arrows into them and neither got knocked, the other was a level 8
Saw a level 150 and started shooting it the game glitched and I only shot it one and it knocked out now I have and absolute beast he is a pack leader
Why do I see a whole pack of these when I’m trying to tame an equus. Bruh
Can't be picked up by Quetz on Mobile
