They are normally found in small packs of three, and higher level is alpha, the alpha gains a gnash attack, which is useful for taking down larger creatures over time and weaker creatures quickly, on mobile ( not sure about others) you can lower the pack down to two and it will still have the alpha in it, normally the only way to escape is getting Agro on something other than u (new tribe mate) and run u little ass cheeks off. Tip: Never fight against a pack of allos and a pack of carnos at the same time, they will inflict 2 different types of bleeding which will drain a substantial amount of health.

Keep in mind that although they are powerful a single allosaurus alone is actually very weak.

Before trying to knock out an allo you have to separate it from it's pack (or kill them), you can do this by whistling dilos to attack the other two allos while the one you want follows you instead, or if you have a quetz or wyvern just grab the allo you want and drop it in a pen.

If you have a really good Argy or smaller bird, you can find a pair and kill the weaker one, then tame the alpha

This creature hunts in packs. The best place to find is around mountains, though I’ve seen them everywhere in CI. Kill the others, then trap the one you want. KO is tricky, but not super difficult, and taming depends on what rates you have. Bring narcotics if you have lower rates. When tamed, allos are fast and they have the pack bonus with 3 or more. They drop allo brains, which are needed to fight some of the bosses. Thx for reading!

very easy to tame if you find a single one just some arrows with crossbow for level 50 and below. no traps just a cliff. only took a few marco berries for a level thirty not 70 narcotics. lol

To the one asking where these spawn, tap “more” beside tips and scroll down a little. You will see “spawn locations” choose which map you’re on and there ya go!

Best map to find allos on: Valguero. They do not spawn on Aberration.

If you have 135 or less movement speed you can't outrun them,I tried and died its a disaster to take them down in open fild and challenge if you are on a rock since if you fall you are as good as dead. Trust me you would like to take down a pack rex rather than a pack of allo. Taming would ve easy if you are high up and have no chance of falling down. And the usefulness is epic since after carno and megalosaurus allo are the land carnivores you can tame and since megalosaurus are nocturnal unless in abration and carnos are way weaker than a allo and if you have a pack you can kill almost anything.

If you see a pack of Allosaurs, I would recommend you run and maintain a large distance away from them. These things are a nightmare in Valguero and there is not a place where there isn’t a group of Allo’s. Fighting them is a death wish, especially if you see them early in your survival. They are merciless and brutal as hell!!! Though, they make very good tame’s especially when you have some friends to join your allosaur pack.

Allos can be carried by wyverns. You can pick them up and drop them in a stone 10x10 they can only break up to wood.

It’s kinda funny actually. Once, no twice; I saw a pack and one came towards me. I ForceTamed it (don’t judge me.#cheats) and I saw 2 more but they wouldn’t move I was like “wer oll gona di!!!” But nothing happened. They just stood there. Turns out they had spawned on top of each other, so they couldn’t move lol

Every time I see a pack of allosauruses I stare at them like it’s a two headed snake!🤣🤣

Watched a couple of these guys lose to around 10 of saber cats... Idk why there were so many. Got a giga though :D
