Don't run. You can't.
I severally underestimated this guy's. I just started playing ark like 2 days ago. I flew my dino halfway across the island and seen the causing choas. I flew down to tame then. I started shooting them with tranqs on a tall rock that I didn't think they could get up. I was wrong. The 2 allos came right up the rock a ND trashed my armor. Tried to run, found out they're faster then me. Fortunately my ptero gave it's life to save me. Then had a really long walk back. Moral of the story, make sure you attack where they can't get you lol.
Me: *100000 m away from a pack of three*
Alloβs: *Let us introduce ourselves*
These guys are everywhere in Valguero. My friend and I were gathering resources when I saw them I ran and remembered Ark's loading screen had a tip that said "You don't have to run faster then the dinos you just have to run faster then your friend" so I used my bola in my hotbar and got my friend. Moral of the story get bolas lots of them

Here are some tips on how allosauruses behave to hopefully save you and your tames:
- They have a gnash effect, which will lower your tames health over time and make you extremely slow.
- A lone allo is far easier to take down, and shouldn't have the ability to use gnash.
- They are extremely fast, if you have no tanky tames, avoid them at all costs, they will chase you down.
- They are very aggressive, if being chased, run past the nearest low to mid size dinosaur, they may aggro onto it, giving you a chance to run away or hide while they're distracted.
If you plan to kill them, your tame should be a tank, with high health and/or a good saddle. Speed won't help you when fighting these guys.
Ark be like : ' let's make this game ultimately harder'
Allos are the most dangerous theropods in ark. Some even say they are hell. But here are some ways to escape them.
1. ALWAYS CARY A SWORD WITH YOU
Always making sure you have a good sword on you when on high hills and mountains is a good idea. I should know. π‘οΈ
2. ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THEM
Allos are not only the most dangerous theropods but the fastest.π
3. PACK BUFF
Allos are a pack dino and get a buff if you have more than two. If you see one allo that's not moving, there's usually one more stuck inside of it. ( It will also appear to have two tails and heads.) More than three will pose a difficulty to take down.π¦
Hope this was helpful.

Look out, there is a glitch in the game where they go through walls (at least metal) we got wiped, by allosuars.
These guys camped a yellow drop in the high lands in godβs spear near my castle base. I nearly have everything to raise my max level fire wyvern egg. Now I know how I am gonna use it.
