They come in packs..., just two.... one is normal and if u get bit by the other u bleed... try to tame one.... and 5 more packs will come to its rescue... then it leaves u with to low up rexs and low up birdies

I know these guys are terrifying, but only if you're their enemy. When this demons are tamed they are deadly as much as in the wild. I literally killed an Alpha Rex with a pack of 4 Allosaurus yesterday. You'd better want to have these dinos on your side. Ark works this way: if you can't beat them, join them!

So I found out the most foolproof way on how to tame these guys

Step 1:build a taming trap near a obelisk

Step 2:find an allo kill the one that suits you colors,level etc

Step three: revive it at obelisk in trap remember that

Step 4:make sure it's a stone trap bc they can't damage stone

Step 5:starve it tranq it put soothing balm or not

Step 6:1234 now you have an allosaur!!!

these guys are pretty useful in caves, good damage.

Allows are the perfect middle between carnos and rexes it’s got damage like a Rex and speed like a carno.

Use a horse to knock it out with buck kick

Ran into a pack of three with an Alfa. Run through clumps of small trees because they get stuck very easily!

Allos are pretty useful. They take with decent health, so I’ve put most of the alphas levels into stamina so I can run for a while. Then I started leveling health and melee after I got up to around 1000 stamina. Hope this helps y’all level well.

150 x allos take around 200 tranqs with an xbow (crossbow, do not slap it with your xbox)

If you have to fight a few of these at a time and are by water deep enough that they have to swim then lure them into the water and swim deep enough that you are below them and shoot them with the crossbow. I killed 3 at once. Just have to come up for air once in awhile or go to land to recover stamina.

Is three shots from the master craft crossbow with tranq arrows maybe six depending on level and you’ll want to do do this on a megalosaurus with movement speed so it doesn’t kill you once out something elCome to kill it sorry something else will usually come to kill it so you want to so there’s this glitch if you cover it in fires like you put a Circle circle of campfires around it nothing will kill it right so then I like to use you just straight rummy or cooked meat and I’ll take like five minutes

If you find one of these you are lucky. There are usually 2 allosaurus and one alpha. Easy Tame. Get them stuck in a rock knock em out and boom

I know a lot of people say to just skip to rex but these things are actually really fun to use, especially in small packs… and if you are able to get a complete pack (15) then you’re practically unstoppable and can even take on gigas and titanos with ease (however if you get more than 15 they’ll split off and form different packs, they’ll also do that if some allos fail to follow the leader and fall behind)

If you want to take them, then it’s best to make a trap. Mine has a stone base of 3 by 4 and with doorframes going up by 3 with a wooden ramp reaching the top. You get them to chase a fast mount that can either fit through the doorframe or can fly, I’d recommend a pteranodon for this. You get them to chase you up the ramp and they get stuck inside so you can tranq them. You can also use this to separate the low levels from the high levels so you can get rid of the low levels. You can mark your trap a little smaller if you’d like. The trap can also be used many times, it can trap anything that isn’t small enough to fit through a doorframe and anything smaller than a spino

I find it quite amazing that wild Allos will run U down & try to kill U, no matter how fast U think U are but once tamed they are super S-L-O-W at least until U dump a bunch of points into speed.

But overall..One of the best tames in the game!!!

totally underrated mounts. they're great for travel; i recommend taking 2 or 3 of them and riding one with the others set to follow. most stuff won't attack you and anything that does will have multiple allos on it pretty quickly! i like to ride one and have the others carry materials as i collect them

You can use these for boss fights but use good Allos not any old ones. I killed beta Megapitechus in less than 20 seconds with 19 that had 6 mutations an were all bread to perfection. (Level 237 when born and fully imprinted)

There’s a place near the tundra, and tons of carnivores spawn there. These are easy to find in that area.
