Tamed a level 300 with a soothing balm 10x and just fed it with raw prime meat. If you can afford resources, go make a diplo kibble or make use of ambers to create a diplo kibble in the chef's station. The soothing balm can be looted from any cave but i recommend looting at skylord's artifact cave(near blue obelisk) because it gives 2 soothing balm cave and obelisk are just near specially with flyer. You can also trick the game by making game saves and restore if you dont want tribute loots.
More Allosaurus Taming & KO Tips
What I did is I found one and ran up a steep mountain and they couldn’t come up their with me so I knocked the high level ones and killed the low ones
If you have a group of 3 or more tamed then the highest level will become an alpha which will give it a new attack and bleed effect.
Think about this: The taming in ark is crazy. The last thing the Dino would remember would be you impaling it in the face with toxic arrows before it gets knocked unconscious. And then somehow it eats while knocked out which makes no sense and then wakes up and loves you till it dies.
Yesterday(Oct 21 2020) I tamed to of these beauties! One was lvl 209 and a female wen I tamed it and the other was a male lvl 80! I also bread them,I used a pheromone the baby is fine tho, the tip here is how I tamed them. Ur gonna need a tapejara and tranqs.OK,
1.go to the red woods on ur tapejara
2.find allo
3.land on a tree with ur tapejara
4.WACK TRANQ DARTS ON ALLO HEAD!
5.wen its out, check the area
6.FEEEED IT!
7.ride it
8.........that's all..........hop u like ur allo......

3= impossible to tame together
4= death of you
5= crying behind a rock waiting for them to go away
6= alpha tribes dying and going extinct
7= ultimate giga killing squad
if u are going for an allosaures tame the easiest thing you can do is lead one into a taming pen and then kill the others outside that way they do not have the alpha pack boost affect and you can easily and safely knock it out
Expect double to triple the suggested tranqs
I recomend you ta me a female and a male and make babies because they will form a group and become stronger (Sorry for bad English i Am Brazilian)
Just get 4 stone gates 4 reinforced stone gate
Place them like a rex trap but with gates step one done
Step2 Find a high level get it to follow u close the gate behind it
Step3 the a lunch break
Steps knock it out feed diplo kibble or prime wait for that bad boy to tame up
And boom you got yourself a bronto killer
Last step Find a mate and make a allo army

If you found allo pack, trap one of highest level kill other to get prime meat and feed it..
