this is basically infinite iron mining tool.

If ur on mobile just build a raft and tame a pteranodon then go to the mountain in the top left of the map and make a couple of runs with it. You can tame multiple PTs and it works even better

The best duo is argy and anky if trio doed anky argy

You can still get this from regular rocks if ur or in the mood to go find metal rocks but it’s many times faster to go to the top of volcano with an argy and anky for larger amounts

Magmasaur is better than anky at metal farming

Use a pick in the extremely early game

If you go to the north cave and have a saber or raptor I can get away from predators fast while u farm metal and crystal or even stone

If you are a beginner go to the island in the bottom right. Tame an anky and start farming.

Go to volcano with arge and level up weight to get one mil metal

If you have genesis. Unlock the mining drill. Then level an argy or a snow owl in weight an reap the rewards

Go to red obelisk on survival evolved there you will find a lot of river rocks mine those river rocks give a decent amount of metal plus there's no enemy's there this is to replace going to the mountain dont go to mountain to gather metal you'll loose your favrite anklo poor herbi rip herbi

Take your argy then go to the nearest mountain drop the ankilo then ride it to a rock mine it then put that sweet iron into your argy then g home cand you got some iron

A lot of people should know this, but if your slow or just new, pay attention. You mainly find metal near water, therw is a difference between metal rocks and just rocks, metal rocks are more grayish and more shiny, if you don't see any, you might be able to see normal rocks under water, they drop metal but not the 20 something you would get from a metal rock, mainly search in rivers, NOT ON SHORES they don't spawn on shores, if you do see some they're the only ones there, usually they're near predators and carnivores so don't get in the water unless your willing to drop the soap for a piranha, also bring bolas there are usually raptors near them, and have a fast dino or a flyer, then are also near forests, the most I've found were in the south western rivers near the obelisks, hope this helped and don't drop the soap to the piranhas.

Use an ankylo, you get more metal than imaginable

Get you argy, set it on wander then pick it up with an argy or quetzal, going near metal will mean auto collecting it

Mine the rocks near the water it gives you more metal

I have got a great way:

1-Tame a pteranodon

2-Look for iron

3-Transport 40 iron per trip

4-Tame a argentavis

5-Use your pteranodon to find explorer notes

6-Get to level 62 to have an argentavis saddle and get up to 100 irons with it per trip
