Magmasaurs are the best at gathering metal

A great way to get some of this early game is to use your pick, walk near your base and mine the small piles of rocks on the ground, they usually give a bit more metal than the large rocks.

Large rocks with metal pick> 2 metal. Small piles on the ground>4-6

Holding the mining drill in hand reduce Metal weight a lot, a stack goes from 300w to 75w, be carefull to keep holding the drill. Its not very usefull but at least now you know its a thing. Have a good day.

Thé mining drill have a big réduction on the metal, test it, if u have in ur hands ur weight Will be less than if u have nothing

For starters,ankyylosaurus is best for getting metal,magmasours are better at gathering metal but it is hard to acquire their egg.

If you need a lot of metal just turn up the harvesting amount and go to those cluster of rock of the rocks by or in the water. It really works don’t tell anyone on you server so that you can kick there@$$ with all your fancy metal tools.

Just go for shiny rocks and always Cary a weapon and go in low populated places

A great way to get lots if metal: Step 1: Get an argy. Step 2: Mine metal on a mountain and put it in your argy's inventory. (Not yours!) Step 3: get lots of metal, argy's have a 50% reduction. Step 4: Go back, and refine your metal into ingots.

Use Anklo level up melee and weight to collect max metal

Magmasaur or a apprentice+ mining drill in an abb surface entrance or abb blue zone is amazing metal harvesting tactic

Magmasaur is faster than anky on the ground, and gathers more, you don’t need a flier

Mid game use anky+argy on rag highlands many metal nodes

Guys if u tame a tek stryder (the type with the cannon thing on top of its head) you can use the secondary attack to get about 14 metal per regular rock (not beach rock just regular). If u have lots of these rocks around you can get a stack of metal easily. And it's a lot safer than the genesis 2 mountains.
