Inevitability (Ep8) - Great...now what?
After freeing everyone, Eden and Reaper ran out of the enemy tribe's base as fast as they could, slamming the door behind them.
"That was...the closest I have ever been...to dying." Said Eden, panting in between every few words.
"Yeah...wish I could say the same..." replied Reaper.
"What?" Asked Eden, who was so tired of being confused.
"You know, I actually joined the war willingly..." Reaper began explaining.
"My family...I lost them years ago. "
"I'm so sorry..." Eden responded.
"The whole house went down in an explosion of flames...a raid. The entire village was burned down in a day."
"You're from a village?" asked Eden.
Reaper just looked away, not wanting to prolong the conversation. Eden didn't see, but Reaper held back tears.
"Let's move, before sunset." He said
"Move to where?"
"Anywhere safer than this..."
* * * * * * *
The Jungle was a terrible place.
Humidity, disease, venomous snakes, heavy rain, and worst of all, mosquitoes.
"Ok, now I'm absolutely we're heading the wrong way." Eden said, swatting bugs out of the air.
"And I'm absolutely sure that we aren't." Replied Reaper, walking forward without looking back.
Reaper suddenly stopped, sensing Eden's annoyance.
"Do you think I like this place either? Let's be glad it's not a swamp."
"Actually, I'd much prefer a swamp." Eden said, thinking about his house in the swamp, but shutting out the idea after thinking too much about the day where he'd lost everything.
Reaper sighed.
"Let's just pick up the pace a little."

Imma put a lot of effort into improving my writing for the next few months...
considering I've already been doing so, It shouldn't be very challenging.

considering I've already been doing so, It shouldn't be very challenging.
-DTG
I've posted Inevitability Ep's 1-7, and I actually like it more than DT, although it might feel a little slower, I promise it'll lead somewhere good.
Also, you can tell my writing in Inevitability is a lot better than DT S1, S2, and even S3.
If there's ever a DT S4, I need to start writing it more like Inevitability.

Inevitability (Ep7)
They were about to crawl through the window, when realization seeped into Eden's mind. "We need to free the prisoners..." he suggested, grabbing the man's gun.
Reaper silently cussed.
He was right, they couldn't just leave the others.
The same soldiers from earlier opened the door, which was unlocked.
Eden pointed the gun at them with slight hesitation. They put their hands up, but Reaper wrestled the gun out of Eden's hand, and shot them both. They fell on the ground, being killed immediately. "I had to...they'd be too much trouble, we need to hurry." Reaper said as they walked out. Eden stopped and leaned over a body. He thought he'd gotten used to it, but something about this was different. Maybe it was that they were unarmed...or maybe it was that they so desperately didn't want to die.
"Come on." Whispered Reaper, motioning down to hall.
They opened the door to the prison room, and someone tackled Reaper. He threw the gun and Eden caught it, firing three times. Reaper pushed the body off, now covered in his own blood, and someone else's. "Thanks. Now let's free these people and go."

Description:
Wild:
Tapejara imperator holds a dear place in the hearts of many survivors here on the island and for good reason. However, natural instincts make it best viewed from afar when wild.
This isn’t because Tapejara imperator poses any threat to survivors when wild, but is extremely shy and distrustful towards them when wild while appearing oblivious to most animals until the moment of attack. It makes a different call and flinches far faster than it’s somewhat more-common Pteranodon ancestors when spooked. I can’t tell what Tapejara imperator‘s phobia of humans is a result of. However, Tapejara imperator is wise enough to know that the sky is always the safest place to be.
Domesticated
Taming Tapejara imperator often times is always a trust-building excercise, as if you treat it with care, it should come to love you once it wakes up. Many value it’s versatility to love it back in return. It does have decent self-defense skills, but rarely uses them in the wild.

Inevitability (Ep6) - false recognition
"Recognized me?" Eden asked, true confusion standing out among all his emotions.
"Yes," said the man, moving his hand away from the gun
"I'm surprised you don't recognize me."
Eden continued to stare, confused.
"Just tell me..." said the man, leaning his head towards Eden.
"How did you survive?
"Survive what?" Eden asked, still not understanding what was going on.
"Well, I guess it doesn't really matter anymore, as long as I kill you again." The man finished, pulling out the gun with great speed, and aiming it at Eden.
"NO, LISTEN, I SWEAR I-"
"I know who you are! Don't try lying to me!" The man said, his face red with pure rage as his hands trembled as he held the gun.
"I'll do anything, I swear!"
"Then stand still and I'll get everything I want out of you!"
Just then, the window exploded. Glass flew everywhere and a blood-covered Reaper slammed into the man in black, knocking him to the ground.
"How'd you survive?" Eden asked loudly. He was done with not being given answers.
"Not the time." Reaper said, snatching something from the table and using it to beat the man.
He suddenly stopped moving, and Reaper got up.
"Let's get the hell out of here."

Inevitability (Ep5) - captured...again?
Eden once again woke up.
It was a dimly lit room, and it was cold.
The door opened, hitting the wall and then bouncing back to close. Loud footsteps followed.
It was then that Eden realized he was captured. His group had been attacked and they either retreated or were all killed or taken here.
The figure walked down the hall, dragging a hand along each bar, making small repeated thud.
The figure stopped abruptly and reached down, pulling out a small handgun and raising it to the air.
Eden covered his ears as the figure pulled the trigger and everyone in the cages around him jerked awake.
"Good morning everyone." The figure said, lowering the gun back to its holster.
"Listen up, this is how it's gonna go. You tell me your job, I choose if I need you."
Everyone looked confused.
The figure rolled its eyes, and said
"You tell me your job or I kill you, understand?"
The stranger went around and talked to people, before coming to Eden.
"What's your job?"
"Me?" asked Eden, as his eyes nervously darted around the room to other people.
"Yes you!" The man yelled with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"I'm a medic."
"A medic? Ok." The man finally said, before moving on to talk to the woman across from him.
Eden glanced at a soldier, who mouthed the word "help" with fear in his eyes.
Eden looked for Reaper, but saw no sign of him and considered that he might have been killed. How could such a young and innocent person be forced into the army In the first place?
Suddenly the cage door opened and two soldiers dragged him down the hall. "We've decided to talk to you." Said the same man from earlier, after talking to the last prisoner.
After dragging Eden to a different room, they let go of him and forced him into a chair. "Leave us." The man told the soldiers who had dragged Eden.
Eden realized the man was wearing full black.
"Do you know why I brought you here?" Asked the man, repeatedly tapping the back of his handgun with a finger.
"No." Replied Eden, his eyes moving to the gun.
"We recognized you...at least...I did."

Inevitability (Ep4) - captured
Eden rode off into the Redwoods.
There was no way he was being followed, was there?
Soldiers came out of the bushes and yelled words that Eden couldn't make out. They shot darts at his para, and it collapsed, unconscious. Eden raised his arms In defeat.
two days later
A bright light shined through his eyelids and he blinked a couple times, before rubbing his eyes. A man held a lantern and began shouting to wake everyone else. Eden crawled out of bed. They'd explained their situation to him already: they were helping another tribe rebel against their government.
They must have tracked Eden and planned to use him because he had military experience as a medic.
The first battle was at hand.
The man handed everyone a gun and they all walked out of their tents.
"There's been an ambush! They need immediate assistance!" Said their commander.
They had walked down a path for seven miles, when they met a dead end. A large boulder in the trail.
"I'll go." Eden offered.
"No," replied a bearded man.
"I'll be quick."
Eden's gaze shifted to something else. A pile of leaves were crushed in an unnatural way. None of them had even touched it. Eden opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by a gunshot. The bearded man fell backwards off the rock, his face oozing blood. His body hit the ground with a crack. Eden recognized the man's facial expression and knew he was dead. A young boy who was about fourteen looked at Eden. "Don't just stand there! You're a medic, aren't you?" He said.
Eden just stared in confusion.
"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Reaper." He said.
"Well...the man's dead." Eden responded.
Gunshots made it almost impossible to hear. "I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be fighting." Eden told him.
"I'm only fourteen, I'm not going to just kill someone." Reaper stated.
A bullet flew by Eden, and he could no longer hear anything. A high pitched noise was the only sound. Something knocked Eden to the ground and everything became dim. He noticed Reaper fighting with something, before everything darkened and the high pitched sound stopped.
