the caves. come prepared with shotgun,food,water,and an axe or two. araneos,arthropleuras,dungbeatles,and basically any kind of bug in caves have lots of chitin.

When I was like lvl 45-50 I got an Ascendant blueprint for an argy saddle. When I saw the req. mats, I was like what? Lol I stayed atleast 10-15 days inside the south cave just to get lots of chitin and then later on I got journeyman blueprint. Tf! Anon got tons of chitin that can craft more than 10 saddle lmao.

My tip, tame a sabertooth and build a mini base outside the south cave and just go in and out if enemies are wiped.

If you want to harvest more chitin and keratin use an axe.

If you need chitin but u can t find trilobites just head to a cave and kill some araneos and scorpion

If you find a blueprint of this on the beginner servers your pretty much alpha

To get chitin just go into the cave and try to have a sword then take the chitin and dont stay much inside cuz its scary

This is a amazing argy thay are good because they act like a smithy but thay are so slow

This saddle works as a smithy, now I’ve heard some people say it won’t repair things but I’m on Nintendo switch and I was able to repair my flak armor.

what I did was just go around killing scorpions bc they carry the most

Best way for the chitin is the lava cave or chitin cave using a ascendant or anyother sword thats really good

If you us a megatherium on anything that gives you chitin it gives you around 1000 I killed 5 bugs and got 800 chitin
