USING A METAL SICKLE ON MEGALONDONS WILL ONLY GIVE YOU RAW FISH MEAT.

To players who are sorta new to ark.. Yes you can get prime fish meat from sabertoothed salmon but you have to use a sickle otherwise you are wasting your time and better of killing a colcealcanth.

If possible, find as many leedsicthys (big whales) as you can, and scrape them. This will either give you 100 raw fish meat, or 100 raw prime fish meat.

Go to S1 and go to the river in the shallow parts you can find piranhas and saber tooth salmons for easy early prime meat just stay by the edge in case of to many piranhas I learned that the hard way😁

Da easiest way to get dis stuff is to go in ariver and shoot sabertooth salmon with a cross bow then harvest them with a sickle. You Get Loads If Itsa Big One

Tusos are apparently considered a fish in Ark even though they are giant ass cephalopods because they don't drop normal meat for some reason....

Leedsichthys-s are the greatest source of prime fish meat

Approach it with an ichthyosaurus and tap left side of the screen to scrape prime fish meat passively in mobile

If pc just don't use a raft, an ichthy is better

The Players who are saying that you can get raw prime fish meat from megalodon is true you have to use metal pickaxe to harvest it don't use sickle or Dino it will only give you raw fish only.

stone pickaxe can be used on dead megs to get this, tho rarely gives more then 2 because of low damage per swing

Scrape a leed and it give u fifty prime :)

When killed, leedsicthys' ONLY drop hide and prime fish meat, you can get a decent amount of prime fish meat per one when killed (around 80-100) with a good dino for harvesting.

Pickaxes also give prime fish meat from both salmon and shark... Real,no joke. How in my a*s you do this, Wildcard?! The Pickaxes is big like a whole fish and we can stab it to get perfect fish meat?!

Sickle for beginners are the best so far, saber tooth salmon are everywhere to found at rivers and water. (watch out for the piranha)

the best thing is to ise the ichthyornis because killed a fish drag it to land and then have it attack it then harvest the body and now you got raw prime fish meat

Fishing in ark mobile is decent— just takes forever but gives a lot
