The best way I've found so far on getting stone is grabbing two doedics with a karkinos and walking near stones. The doedics will automatically harvest them without a rider even when they are on passive. The server I play on has 5X harvesting, and I get about 30k stone in just a few minutes. This is 6k stone on official servers. Make sure the crab has good weight, at least 10k. If you can't tame a crab, here are other alternatives: magmasaur (also gets extra metal in normal rocks), mining drill (gives extra flint and metal on normal rocks, not as much metal as magma), dunkelo (easily the second best method). These are pretty lategame, so stick to a single doed or metal hatchet if you can't the other options.

Don't tame doedic with tranq arrows. He will go into a ball and take like no torpor, estimate 200 tranq arrows for lvl 100+ if you still want to tame with arrows

i saw a very high level bronto glitched into a rock. after i harvested the rock, the bronto died! Also, on herbivore island, i fell off the cliff and glitched into a rock, i couldn't free myself, so i harvested the rock...and i died as well. Moral of the story: that last strike of axe must do Hella damage 😳

Steps on how to get stone really easily and quickly

Step 1 wake up

Step 2 make a pickaxe

Step 3 mine the big rock next to you

Step 4 think about why are you looking at hints because rocks are everywhere and it's easy to get

Get a doedic, lift it with your argy/quetzal and go to the crater. Bam, you got lotsa obsidian

Umm Im having this glitch where the rocks (and some trees) on a little peninsula are invisible anyone have any idea on how to figure out where to use my dodec?
