When it comes to stone, a Doedic is your best friend
Doedicurus: I can harvest stone
Therizinosaurus: I cant harvest stone

Use doedic it’s good also when taming doedic shoot the head not the shell
Get a doedicerus, go in a river then farm the underwater rocks with the doed. They move faster in water and those river rocks give more stone
Easiest way of gathering stone as a beginner is to use an axe on large or small stones.
If you can’t find stone go to an eye doctor
Dunk is secretly #1 stone gatherer
River rocks give more stone than regular rocks. Pair this with a doedic, who has a faster swimming speed than walking speed, and you get infinite stone.
There is no normal way to get this you have to spawn in this very rare resource
Little tip: use argentina and picking doedicurus while set wander. Doedicurus will get stone for u

If you hit crystal metal rocks or river rocks you get more stones then regular rocks
Use an axe to mine rock to get more stone
An use a pickaxe to mine flint and metal
Go to a jungle or area like the with a doed (if traveling by platform saddle with stone put a doed on and load it up to reduce weight)
Use the doedircus to get as much stone as you would ever want. I recommend only upgrading the weight so that you can carry more stone.

This is a resource that you always have to throw away after getting metal, crystal, obsidian or oil, to doesn't get heavy, but when you need it you don't have it because you threw it away, so you should get a doedicurus 👍
