Side note: doeds AREN’T easy to tame (kinda) a level 20 takes an HOUR to tame with mejoberries, and if you don’t have any higher grade food like kibble or crops in general, you’ll have to grow food which takes a lot of time. What I’m saying, is be prepared, definitely not a last minute tame because herbivores (and especially doeds) take a LONG TIME to tame and it can get kinda sucky tbh. I just use stuff like master craft hatchets still but def take into consideration time when taming, otherwise, it is pretty standard easy taming

When it comes to stone, a Doedic is your best friend
Doedicurus: I can harvest stone
Therizinosaurus: I cant harvest stone

Use doedic it’s good also when taming doedic shoot the head not the shell
Easiest way of gathering stone as a beginner is to use an axe on large or small stones.
If you can’t find stone go to an eye doctor
Get a doedicerus, go in a river then farm the underwater rocks with the doed. They move faster in water and those river rocks give more stone
River rocks give more stone than regular rocks. Pair this with a doedic, who has a faster swimming speed than walking speed, and you get infinite stone.
