If u need rock,not metal,Beter found a doed and get normal/mossy rocks,ween ITS abauth metal,anky AND river rocks/metalic rocks are ur Best friends

Doedicurus is the #1 stone gatherer. They are ungodly easy to tame and are incredible swimmers just like ankys. The only con that they have is their abysmal weight that can be fixed by either breeding or just getting high level tames

scorched earth is the safest and easiest place to farm stone with a argy and doedic or a crab and doedic

Slingshot one at an unsuspecting bystander to start a conflict, make a fire to cook up meat from said bystander, and build homes that can withstand MOST dinos, disregarding players with metal tools and patience to chop a whole wall with it. Happy Gathering

Doedic + Argy + Beachside = Unlimited stone! Also if you need flint, use industrial grinder!

Use a yuty courage roar on the doedic than go ham on the stones nearby

Side note: doeds AREN’T easy to tame (kinda) a level 20 takes an HOUR to tame with mejoberries, and if you don’t have any higher grade food like kibble or crops in general, you’ll have to grow food which takes a lot of time. What I’m saying, is be prepared, definitely not a last minute tame because herbivores (and especially doeds) take a LONG TIME to tame and it can get kinda sucky tbh. I just use stuff like master craft hatchets still but def take into consideration time when taming, otherwise, it is pretty standard easy taming

Even if internet not the best way to get amber byt collecting rocks does work I was collecting stone when I was waiting and thinking what to do next and I got 2 amber and the respawn quickly please tip this to evryone

Here’s a rip if your stone gatherer has like 0 stamina, go to a river with river rocks, that’s it, there’s like 10000 river rocks in a lot of rivers (On the island, I’m not 100% sure with other maps, and obv this won’t work very well if your not near one, bc stamina)

Stone is found literally everywhere.

And they can be found when you kill a giant apex rock golem.

Doeds give you a ton of stone from rich metal nodes but no metal

By far the best method for stone is grabbing two doedics with a karkinos and walking near stone with them. The doedics will automatically harvest any nearby rock even without a rider. I play on 5X harvest ratings and get about 30k stone in a few minutes. That's 6k stone on official, about half the amount to need to surround a large base with behemoth gates.
