Whats popping guys? Ive never met basically all of you before, but thats my bad. Kinda disappeared for like. A year.

(GhostGamer i still cannot comprehend that people like my old stories help me)

I think im gonna stick around! I dunno. I'll still be pretty spacey with my activity because im drowning in hyperfixations, but I'll try!

I figure i should also mention. I am NOT an OG lmao. Yes ive been hanging around for awhile but i popped up like a few months to maybe even a year after DTG, Bob and them started writing here

Oh. And yea CL1 IS on discord!(i dont remember who asked but some1 did) they arent super active but they exist!

Also! I wanna go around and read some of you new folks' stories!! So if you say where theyre at ill go check em out!

(Oh and also, for those who wanna join the discord. Theres actually two. The FDFC, which is more focused around the actual fanfictioning community, and Club Parrot! Club parrot is a silly little discord server thats filled with tons and tons of chaos and some roleplay and stuffs! Personally im only in club parrot)

I'll only include info that I know/rememebed

Phase one: The beginning

The moment the "Stories" section releases, Seasnake and P. Metallica (Big Blue Spider) start writing. Their stories (Skullhelm's Story and AJTTAT) weren't the best, honestly. After a few days/weeks DTG starts writing Dodo Tales, the story that everyone was obsessed with (Because everyone loves the short-chapter stories without properly developed characters and a horrible, makeshift plot), which boomed in popularity.. Soon after, Bob followed in DTG's crooked footsteps

I call these four the "True OGs"

Phase two: The Big Boom

I wouldn't call these ones OGs, necessarily. Maybe Swamp up to Nazgul, but the rest arent very original.

Anyway, Swamp guy joined in the mix, Skronk and Nazgul trailing behind. Lamprey, CL1 and Dilo start writing stories as well. All of the new fanfictioners bring new types of fans, and the community swells immensely. Apex, Red Dragon, and Silverwings joined around this time (or in/after P3/P4)

Phase Three (some of these events may have happened during phase two!): Altered Systems

Things have changed now. A new writer (I wouldn't call them a fanfictioner since they weren't apart of the community, and, well-) starts writing a story about all the fanfictioners. The Fanfictioner Hunger Games, or something along those lines. Trust me not to remember these things.

Around this same time we discovered something apparent, that we needed somewhere to call our home. We needed a place to regroup and just have fun together overall.

"Wheres the Dodo Tales" guy mysteriously disappears around this time. RIP 😔

Anyway, someone (unnamed) suggested that we go to the dyes. And then another post suggested we go to Silver dye! So there we go.

We moved in. That's pretty much it

Phase Four: Discord Erupts

To some, Silver Dye wasn't enough. We couldn't share pictures, and it took a day for our messages to post! (And that's why we need a real talking platform, one with members that are active on here too. I might make another discord, but eh..)

Bob suggests an app, something that allows us to talk to each other freely and play a game at the same time! Nation something.. my memory is horrible, sorry. Either way, well, it didnt work out.

Next suggestion? Discord! Personally, I had previous experiences with discord and vowed never to go on it again (lets just say I broke that vow) and some other fanfictioners refused to join as well. I made a discord and invited DTG first. Then came CL1, Dilo girl, Silver.. Anyway, the discord slowly grew. It was fun in there! I loved it. But came consequences. Back in Dododex, a lot of people disliked the idea and for a good reason. Most of the members who transferred over to the discord became inactive.

Phase Five: Missing Whole

In dododex, it may have not been clear, but if you searched hard enough a dark future was tangible.

The decline of the community was upon us. Plots dried out and not much was left for us to write. In addition to that, part of the community had been ripped apart, left to join Discord, leaving new fanfictioners to fill its hole, But despite their best efforts, something was always missing. They couldn't find the right fit for the tear.

The discord lost all hope and broke apart-

DTG mainly.

Phase Six: The Steep Climb (current)

Slowly, more and more fanfictioners slipped into the hole and filled it up. Like glueing together a broken stone; it may be fixed but it won't ever be the same.

Berrie, I’m pretty sure there’s an option to disable blood. And either your parents are just VERY strict or they think your too young to see blood, because ark mobile has not that much blood than actual Ark.

I have realized something that is bringing me down. Turns out old stories have it hard. My first ever story “peaking at 187 likes” I can’t even find in its section anymore. I don’t even understand how or why. Dan I’m actually suprised. I know you probably have a good reason for it but still.
