Havent played part 2 yet, by the time this posts I will have. Watched a map tour and watched Syntac show off the ending cutscene. The ending is super sad, but the map looks great! Plus we’re getting extinction and Gen pt 1 creatures on it according to the wiki.

Found Rockwell’s innards, I’ll give a small guide here.

DO NOT be seen by the summoners. They spawn in a corrupted version (not from extinction, corrupted by Rockwell) and they can hurt pretty badly. If your looking to get mutagen, it has a green color and it’s on the ground. Careful, when you grab it small things that look like summoners will chase you, and kill you. Did I forgot to mention it aggros a summoner on to you? Also, when you get hit by the small summoner things, you can’t use the tek federation leggings ability for 5 seconds, so good luck. Also it’s found near the middle bit in Rockwell’s garden, should be a tek structure, look fo a huge opening below it, and you’ve found Rockwell’s innards. Also carniflora drop black pearls, very rarely. To actually fight Rockwell, you need mutagen and all the missions on gamma for gamma Rockwell, beta missions for beta Rockwell, and alpha missions for alpha Rockwell.

Just encountered a shadow mane, here’s what happened:

Me: oooo shadow manes! *approaches*

Shadow mane: *aggros*

Me: hmmm so you have to passive tame it while it’s asleep.

Shadow mane: *dashes at me and stuns me*

Me: oh god

Shadow mane: *kills me*

I am now scared of shadow manes on foot, I had another encounter while I was literally flying upwards, it teleported right up to me and stunned me. Luckily if your in the air, you’ll probably escape. Just be warned, these things are dangerous and can only be tamed passively while asleep.

Silver, if your looking to get a dlc, probably not scorched earth. It’s annoying to survive, very hot during day and very cold during night. There’s no ending and one boss.

Aberration is a decently long DLC, surprisingly with just one boss, and he’s considered the easiest boss in the game, and this DLC has radiation, nameless that spawn if your light pet isn’t enabled, and a surface that is scorching during day.

Extinction is a huge map, with about 50% being the “Wastelands” a scorching hot, your going to die without desert cloth place. So go other to crystal isles when your a high level and learn SE and Aberration engrams there. There’s also huge Titans you have to spawn in as a boss, and can be tame or killed, and you kinda have to kill them and tame them to fight the final titan, king titan. There’s much more to extinction, very good DLC.

Genesis part 1, an excellent map with a bog full of kapros, sarcosuchus, baryonyx, Carnotaurus, and many more predators to kill you at the start. The start is just painful if you don’t know what to do, because you might just keep dying. I usually try to do the race missions in that biome and upgrade speed to help for the boss and getting to the mission. The lunar and snow biome is -1 C, if I remember correctly, so it’s very cold, and you need full fur gear, and I like to live in that biome. I’ve explored an okay amount of lunar biome, but I’m just gonna skip it, it’s still a good biome. Volcanic biome is filled with predators like rexes, allos, and raptors, and many more. You might even start out better here that in the bog. There’s much more to the DLC that I didn’t explain, but genesis part 2 has released.

Silver, if you’re gonna get a DLC, get Aberration or Genesis. They’re the two best paid DLCs (in my opinion.)

How cool would it be if there were secret Gen 2 creatures and biomes that the devs have kept secret and said nothing about and people only found out about them once they played it. Obviously there aren’t any, but it would be funny if the devs did that.

Guys, it may be a while till I get Genesis 2, because I don’t have Genesis season pass (don’t kill me) and currently I think it costs near to £40, so I’ll have to wait until there’s a sale on the Steam Store, and only god knows when the next sale will be.

Ten bow is gonna be meta in pvp, because comp bows and metal arrows are already really good, but they take timing because they have to travel, unlike bullets. Tek bow makes arrows go the speed of bullets, which is pretty op. Screw longneck, never used it anyways, advanced crossbow where are you.
