Hey, don't risk going swimming or the mess that is aberration! Just take a beaver or thorny dragon to fjordur, teleport to asgard south, go to the edge of the purple forest, and harvest the little blue balls! Bring a sturdy dps though (reccomend smthn you can't get knocked off of), as shadow manes live there.

If you stick to the edge and keep an eye open, and harvest in the day, you should be good though. (Shadow manes sleep during the day.)

If you have a giga on gen bite the fungal trees in bog it gives the fungal wood as well

There should be a mushroom forest in Crystal isles that drop fungal wool
