Sap can be collected over time by attaching tree taps to large redwoods, though regular storage runs are needed because taps fill up. It can also be harvested from suitable stumps, desert or Joshua trees, dead-branch pine trees, and certain special trees or plants across different maps using creatures such as Therizinos, Mammoths, Brontos, or other melee-capable mounts. Some creatures, including Gachas, Archaeopteryx, and certain Moschops, can produce sap while wandering. Sap is useful for Sweet Vegetable Cakes, taming and healing herbivores, and caring for Achatinas and Ovis.
