Ik it seems annoying to have early game, but keep it around. TRUST ME! In mid game you will need it for ammo and other things. To grind to get ammo u need a TON of charcoal so again, so trust.

Go To the volcano on rag then use a wyvern or hatchet to get tons of charcoal

Take a mining drill to charcoal trees and get a ton way faster than a wyvern and burning wood in Indy forge.

Use stryder link on dedi on charcoal, and go mine tree on crystal, is way better than wyv, you quickly full a dedi

For all newbies there IS a use for this stuff!!! It can be used to make various kinds of dyes!!!

for raiders out there, we all know we need this stuff. ( mobile dunno bout pc )

Usually dropped by trees near lava instead of thatch

Put only wood into the refining forge, at least two separate stacks, it'll make charcoal

Mining drill on crystal isles is good better than wyvren imo

Go whit a dino whit high weight and a pickaxe to the charcoal zones it will give you tons of charcoal

Just use mining drill.You will get 1000+ charcoal with one tree.

Bro what tried to make a hundred tranq darts and realized it would take me like a week just for the metal

Tame a beaver, they are easy. Go round smashing trees up for wood. Then make like 20 cooking pots and fill them with wood. After that, you won’t need charcoal ever again!

Hit burnt trees near volcano with pickaxe or put wood in industrial forge😁
