Go to either the black forest on val or the red forest on crys isles and use a wyvs/crystal wyvs wing flap attack and youll get tons of charcoal. U can also burn a ton of wood in an indus forge

Burn wood in industrial forge for fast charcoal

Go to gen 1 volcano with a trusty Dino and a megatherium that took you ages to find and hit all the trees and you should get some charcoal (u[p so more people can see)

Use more than 100 campfire and put 100 woods for each

Now you make air pollution for ark

Burn wood for a few hours and you'll get it in ark mobile too

Don't discard in early game. Later on it can be used for many things, including gunpowder.

If you are on Rag then go break the trees in the volcano area and bam you have several thousand charcoal

Go to the red forest on Crystal isles, or any charcoal forest and use the stryder on the trees, you get 6k-9k charcoal per tree

Best way to farm this late game is use tek gauntlets on the charcoal trees on crystal I was getting 600+ per hit on smalls

If there is a part of the map that is charred or a lava area there are trees that drop charcoal

I wish when I was new that I knew that u shouldn’t get rid of charcoal. I can remember dispensing multiple full stacks…..

For ragnarok go to the volcano and gather charcoal from the burnt trees

Get a ton of campfires and wood and boom! You got a easy charcoal farm!

Mammoth gets a good bit but left clicking.

Better than wyverns

Put 20 camp fires fill them with wood if you don’t have a industrial forge and leave them overnight

Always use wood when cooking/smelting things in the early/mid game and you'll build up a decent amount of charcoal.

Best way for charcoal on the center before you obtain an industrial forge is harvesting the trees at lava island. While wyverns might give more, all I know is that any dino with an attack can harvest them. Because of this, using fast dinos with good melee and attack speed, like thylas or allos, are great for quickly destroying the trees. Make sure your mount is cabable of running away or fighting the carnivores there.

Ik it seems annoying to have early game, but keep it around. TRUST ME! In mid game you will need it for ammo and other things. To grind to get ammo u need a TON of charcoal so again, so trust.

Just use mining drill.You will get 1000+ charcoal with one tree.

Tip. put metal in a forge then any quantity of wood u want (i recommend 200) light it up, forget about it and boom
