so for some reasom tusos have a chance to drop either just tentacles, absorbent substrate & black pearls, or both. the chances for both are prob equal but its weird for them not to be guarunteed.

THE tusoteuthis tentacle is an item who hunters DREAM OF getting in their inventory, as tusoteuthises are infamously known for being frustrating to kill. THE tusoteuthis is the FISHERMAN'S nightmare, resulting in some even giving these trophies to their WIFE as a token of trust, because it takes a strong amount of force to take one down. This is because it can grab your mount, shredding its hp with high dps while it can't attack back, and when it gets low on health it can blind you with ink which will decrease your stamina to 0, then quickly swim away while your screen is black. The tusoteuthis also spawns as rare as a shooting star in the ocean and the ones in the caverns of lost hope can spawn with levels of up to 300. If you do manage to kill one though, they do drop 8 at once.
