No it dosen't.

I recommend pike more than sword. First of all its cheaper. Unlock it first. And has more range, attack speed, cost less durability to attack. The only thing sword is better at is damage.

The Pike- a long metal pole, sharpened at one end. The Pike has 40 Damage per hit and 40 Durability as well.

The Pike is a cheaper alternative to the Sword, functioning as a mid-game melee weapon.

Pike is actually really good! Its underated, its really good for early game hunting too!
